Good Morning All! What's everyone doing today?

I'm just drinking my first cuppa of the day, after a nice lie in snuggled up with both kittens (they're nearly a year old now!) who came to bed after I kicked them out of the bedroom for mountaineering at 7am 🤣. Everyone else is still in bed, for now, so it's nice and quiet. Won't last long though...one of the girls' Alexa alarms has just gone off & I'm not sure which one!

There's a couple of loads of washing to be done this morning, and last night's cooked breakfast pots to be washed. No-one could be bothered after tea. & when I've posted this, I'm going to list a couple of things on Vinted while I finish my tea.

Today I'm off to a gig, in Leeds, with dd1 that isn't one of her birthday ones! We've booked more for the opener than main act but enjoy both so it should be fun! Plan is to leave here between 2/3pm, get the train, and eat in Leeds before walking to the venue 40 mins out of the centre <prays to the Google Maps Gods for simple directions>. We'll be on the last train home & straight to bed for me, after a cuppa 💤

Dd2 wasn't fussed about doing anything today when their dad asked - she's off out with a friend tomorrow.

Morning, @lucysmam! Nothing too exciting going on here. DS has just headed out to an orchestra rehearsal, and DH is putting away the shopping delivery that's just arrived. When he's finished, I'll clean the kitchen.

It's sunny today so I might get some gardening done later (although I filled the garden bin last weekend and it's not collected until April round these parts!). DH is ordering some cupboard doors and worktop from IKEA because we are trying to sort out the garage with some storage.

I've promised to help DS with some mocks revision this weekend, and the dog will need a couple of walks at some stage.

Hoping to inject some fun into the day somewhere too - not sure what yet!

We are off to the allotment shortly. I will be starting more seeds and DH is keen to try out his new rotavator, the old one was starting to give up the ghost after 10 years of hard labour.

DH has just put salmon, pork and sausages into the smoker. Home smoked is amazing.

This afternoon I am sewing and DH will be snoozing in front of the rugby.

We need to tackle the pits of doom today (girls' bedrooms) and we fancy a library trip. The sun is shining so I'm going to convince them to walk there and back. And I will definitely have a sit with a book or knitting later, im determined!

I've decided we're going to stop eating so many ultra processed foods (thanks MN, there's always a thread reminding me how I could be doing better 😂🫠) so I've just put away the INCREDIBLY HEALTHY big food shop and plan to get ahead of the week with food prep. Making focaccia, pretzels, pesto, soup, a couple of lasagnas to freeze, an almond slice/bakewell tart type thing and granola bars - or at least that's the plan! DS is at swimming but has been taken by a friend and then they're going to soft play afterwards.

Will eat as I go this morning and make DS a sandwich for lunch, then the sun is shining so we're off to a NT property this afternoon with friends. Will obviously take the Bakewell tart to show off share (as long as it looks good, if not we'll have it at home 😂)

Homemade pizza for tea using leftover dough from this morning, and then I'm hoping DS falls asleep nice and early tonight because for some reason this week he's been up at 5 every day 🫠 Then it's a Happy Valley rewatch for me, because it's been about 8 months since I binge watched the whole thing.

Up with the baby since 6.30 - she’s currently feeding and chilling on me. We’ve had American-style pancakes for breakfast as we didn’t mark pancake day earlier this week!

Having friends over for lunch today so DP is getting the salmon in the marinade. Need to tidy round a bit.

May try to get a wash out on the line - first of the season! We’ve started using cloth nappies so more laundry than ever 😂

Been awake since 7ish - have had a cuppa and made coffee for DH. Quick whizz around downstairs which for some reason looked like a bomb had hit it this morning.
Now back in bed with a cappuccino and my book - sun is streaming though both windows and the birds sound wonderful. So love a lazy Saturday morning.
We’ve just booked Disney Paris in August so DD2 is dancing around very excited.
Will do some laundry/cleaning then get ready to go to local town - I have a bra to return and DDs want to go to their favourite coffee shop for toasted panini.
Then we’ll visit my Dad and then home for pizza and a film tonight.

Currently at soft play, which isn't as bad as it seems now eldest DD is 11 and can run after the younger two! I also have a badly injured foot so I'm drinking tea and eating cake while DH does any rescuing that's needed 😂 after we will go for lunch, then a few bits at the shop before home to watch the football at 3.

I'm lying in a nice warm bubble bath trying to ease a niggling lower back pain that's been bothering me all week. 😞 I have a couple of loads of bedding to go in the wash, it's a nice sunny drying day here. Wish I was going to a gig this evening, but probs a night in, pasta and a couple of g&ts for me.

Today is a well-planned chill day after a busy week at work. I got all my housework done yesterday.

Had a lie-in, sorted the animals, had a shower and now I'm enjoying a coffee and working my way through the Disney back catalogue. I'm autistic and as well as being one of my special interests, the films are my ideal way to switch off and recover.

I'm out for breakfast with a friend tomorrow though so I'm very much looking forward to that too.

Hello everyone. I've just had a lazy breakfast. After a second cup of tea I'll be doing a bit of housework - not too much at the weekend, just a quick tidy round - then I'm planning to spend the day reading. I collected my reserved books from the library yesterday but haven't decided which one to read first. DH is in charge of sorting out all meals, don't know what he's planning but I'm hoping there's a fish finger sandwich. Later this evening DH & I are going to the cinema.

I've been up since 4am with period pain so not planning anything particularly lively today. I've had tea and biscuits at 4.30 then coffee and a hot cross bun around an hour ago. I feel I could be ready for third breakfast soon! I've finished my book Americanah by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie this morning and have a cat snuggling up.

I'll do a few house jobs today, have the car in for MOT and service this afternoon and will swing by to look at progress on our house (new build). Dinner is pizza, and will probably just watch TV this evening.

I naturally woke at 7 which was a lovely peaceful start to the day and I got up at 8 as DC2 had to be at an event for their hobby for 9am. Just dropped them off they'll be there all day and DH will get them later on.

I'm currently in a coffee shop having a decaff latte of course and have a few errands to run before heading home.

Pancakes this afternoon for us as we were busy on Tuesday.

My little girl is watching Peppa Pig, and her eyes are getting heavy for a nap. When she goes down, I'll scoot into town as I need a waxing.
I think it might be a takeaway for tea.

Did put the bread maker on, whites washing to go on line in a bit and soak beans for Mexican later.

Two are out already on a muddy pitch, other is building up to GCSE work by looking at stuff online completely unrelated!

Friends round for dinner later, gardening (seeds for veg) season is upon us.

The sun is shining so some outdoor work enjoyment should be had. It could be worse. Enjoy the day everyone.

Very lazy morning so far. On my second cup of tea in bed listening to Radio 4 right now. Off up into London today for a friend’s birthday and to try on the engagement ring I’ve fallen for (DP knew better than to make that decision without my input).

Getting everything ready for Cheltenham next week.

DH has been off work with bad cold for the past 3 days and now teenager has gone down with the lurgy as well so I have my nurses hat on and looking after them both. Was cooking pasta for teen at 2.30am as he hadn't eaten yesterday feeling grotty.

Managed to nip out and stock up on more paracetamol and some olbas oil for them both.
Mucked out the donkeys, fed the chickens, put a wash on, took car to the car wash and still need to walk the hounds.
The rest of the day will be things that aren't too taxing as I don't have the energy. I have some hellibores and winter jasmine to plant so might do that.
Something very easy for evening meal like pizza and an early night (hopefully).

Good morning @lucysmam and everyone. I have had a run of excellent nights' sleep so I'm feeling quite good this morning. Mr Dilemma developed my last week's cold several days ago (letting me know about it a LOT) but I couldn't do that much for him as I was working, so yesterday I made him stay in bed. He is miraculously so much better today!

The plan for today is to clean and tidy the spare room and to make the bed, and to clean my office. My baby and her baby are coming to stay for a few days on Thursday. We will get the spare room finished and shut the door on it, but we won't be able to finish off converting the office into another spare room until after I finish work on Thursday. We have a trundle bed to put in there.

Tomorrow the plan is to go to Aldi/Lidl to pick up a nice selection of cold meats for family lunch next Saturday. I have put loads on my Ocado order to be delivered on Thursday but it is much less expensive in Lidl/Aldi, so I will get what I can there and take it off the Ocado order. I will let you know if that happens!

Chorister grandson doesn't have any choir duties this weekend so we have the weekend off. Thank goodness!

Currently we are being treated to the sounds of next doors builders (who seem to have found the only builders that work exclusively at the weekend, such fun 🙄) but in a bit we're off to the beach seeing as it's nice with my parents, brother and baby niece. I cannot wait to breathe in that glorious sea air.

A slow morning here, enjoying a coffee with the sun streaming in.

Not much planned today, we will get out for a walk around the nearest country park and we need to do a food shop. Will give dc free choice then of bowling or trampoline park.

Not sure what will be for dinner tonight but will have a nice bottle of wine with it and hopefully find a new series to watch. Any recommendations?

I'm really enjoying the spring weather after what felt like the longest winter!

@rosao we have just started watching Bergerac. Very different from the old series but you are probably much too young to remember that!

Beautiful, sunny spring morning here. Actually quite warm. Just had a shower, I'm now eating tea and toast. Off to a flea market at 11 with mum. We go regularly. Dh and ds both off to work in about half an hour. Might nip out for some other bits later. This afternoon, I'll hoover and dust (maybe!) read, do more on my jigsaw, calligraphy and maybe some writing. Tonight, we'll watch Gladiators, Causalty and probably continue with The Mentalist, which we love. Tea, i don't know yet. Sausages or stir fry! Hope you have a lovely day @lucysmam.
