I’m happy to say that many news outlets have commented on the briefing done by Labour. Including by the BBC on-air in the coverage leading up to Kendall’s statement.
That doesn’t mean that what has been announced isn’t hard to stomach by those affected.
But Labour didn’t freeze PIP, which was a measure briefed out originally.
I said quite clearly on this thread that welfare payments would have to be cut in the face of economic problems and defence imperatives. And I also said very clearly that the most vulnerable should always be protected.
(I’ve not posted on here for a bit because emotions are clearly raw, and I had been attacked by an unpleasant fool who I just couldn’t be bothered with. The fool wasn’t you, of course, or any other name I recognise.)
