For how long do you feel clean after a shower?

I shower every morning, if money/time allowed I would probably have another shower before bed.
I feel like maybe a few hours after I shower/bathe Iose the 'clean' feeling, I definitely don't smell (wash scrupulously and use a strong deodorant/antiperspirant) but I definitely don't feel clean anymore!
Am I odd or does anyone else understand what I mean?

I shower every morning and night, can't stand not feeling fresh, will never understand people who don't shower at least once a day, just grim!

I shower at night after work to wash off the day. Way better than morning showers! Don't want to get into clean bed without shower.

Does anyone have baths anymore

Maddy70 · 17/02/2025 20:43

Until the next morning when I have another

Every morning, just a quick rinse off most days with an 'everything' shower on one of them. On a Sunday I'll have a bath because there's more time.

Adding in, I wash my hair every other day because I don't have the energy to tackle drying it daily

I love a bath, but probably only have one once or twice a week. The other times it's a quick shower from a time and money saving perspective. But in general I prefer baths to showers.

Like a PP, I don't wash my hair every day. I only wash it every 2-3 days as it's a bugger to dry so in-between hair washes it's a 60 second shower to wash pits and bits etc.

Every morning and every evening. Couldn't imagine putting on nice clean clothes with an overnight bum 🤣 and then again, wouldn't dream of sleeping in nice clean sheets without a good shower before bed! I still wear clean pjs every other night. I'm pleased my husband is the same, not sure I could share a house with someone whose dirty bits were sitting near my sofa, and this is coming from someone with two under 5's, who I also deep clean once a day!

(I didn't answer the question in my post, I feel sort of clean until the next wash, so around 12 hours, but definitely a bit grimy on the face and pits!)

Wtf is an "overnight bum?" 🤣 Are you particularly sweaty in bed at night? Or having sex and not washing afterwards or something?

I fail to see how showering once every day means you have "dirty bits". I'm a once a day washer, in the evenings as I've more time then and feel perfectly clean. PJs are also changed every other day and I wear knickers under PJs, always to avoid needing a fresh pair of PJ bottoms every day.

I can understand needing the morning shower if you sweat at night. Summer is the only time I morning shower as well as evening shower if it's been a hot night.
