Your Birthday month

Do you like it?
Would you prefer another if you'd had a choice?
A few January born in my family and they categorically say it's the worst!
November babies aren't very keen on theirs either.
They say either side of December is not good as obviously everything is geared towards, and dominated by Christmas.

I'm July, which is fine by me now but I remember not being happy as a teenager as I was obviously one of the youngest in the school year, and the last to do everything - especially the most important driving lessons and passing your test!

I’m end of February which is ok ( but usually freezing )
If I could have picked a month I would have chosen May. Such a beautiful month.

I’m born in August, I always loved having my birthday in the school holidays and as a work in a school I’ve never had to work on my birthday either. My daughter is born in July so her birthday is the same and my next baby is due August, so I’ll always be home for their birthdays.

Oh I'm a late November birthday and I love it

It kinda suits my vibe, dark aesthetic, kinda moody

November reminds me of wine, jazz and rnb music, of cooking and being cozy

Im not a troll 😄😄 just genuinely think this

My dd is an April baby which for me means spring snd new beginnings, which explains her meaning to me xx

Also late November and I love it too, for similar reasons! ... and I have a May child which is also lovely.

Also love my late November birthday because I get to spend my birthday money on black Friday sales lol

I absolutely hate my third week in January birthday. Half the stuff I get is a bunch of regifted stuff that people didn't want for Christmas passed on to me. Like crappy Baylis and Harding kits, sets of shower gels, packs of York fruits, and 'after 8 mints,' and boxes of Crawfords or Fox's biscuits. Most of the food only has about 5 days to the end of its shelf life.

Basically, stuff people have got leftover from Christmas/been given for Christmas and not wanted they use for my birthday. (Not everyone I know who gives to me does this, but about half of them do.)

Also there is absolutely nowhere open to enable me to go somewhere with DH for the weekend, like the coast, and the weather would be crap anyway. And we can't go anywhere for a day trip because again, the weather would be too rubbish, and we would have to start back at 2:00pm because of it being dark by 3.50pm! (And again, nowhere would be open.)

There is about a 90% chance of rubbish, freezing-cold, frosty weather, or rain and high winds.

My husband's birthday is at the end of June. I'd much rather have my birthday then. He always books the week off, and we often end up going somewhere, and celebrating his birthday away. And we often do something really lovely ...

But not for mine, because it's a shitty time of the year. I swear one of these years, I'm going to book a holiday on the other side of the planet so we can celebrate my birthday for a change!

October

Hated it when I was young, I always wanted a paddling pool party and back then when the seasons existed it was too cold. Also too soon in to the school year to have established friendship groups.

I wanted June/july , nice and warm and and a good distance from Christmas

@BatchCookBabe I've thrown Half Birthdays for my January children before - so the same/similar date in July, esp if it was a heatwave! Got great photos of them with their mates in the paddling pool and garden celebrating. Maybe you could do the same?!

January 2nd s just after Christmas. Not ideal. Why could mum not have me in July or August when I could picnic in the park???!!!

Mid May... absolutely perfect... now that I'm well past any exam seasons.

Usually nice weather, have bank holidays at start and end of the month, my birthday is like another little treat in the middle. Far enough away from mothers day, fathers day, Xmas that it feels special. My 2 closest friends were born within 2 days of me too, so always someone up for a meal. Holiday costs are relatively cheap, kennels for the dog easily bookable.
I love my mid May birthday.
