@PeterPipper I just try and guess which one was right and wrong on the second guess. So from your example with "tough" with one letter in the wrong place, I would guess something like "stare" next, keeping the t but with 4 different other letters. No idea whether that is the best tactic, on today's it took me ages to work out which of my initial letters was correct!
