I've given this a try both yesterday and today, but I don't understand what strategies to use to find out which letters are in the correct place for example. I understand that I can grey out letters that definitely don't appear and I can mark in green the ones I know are in the correct place. But would someone please give me some tips on what to do for the best? For example if my first guess was 'tough' and I only get one letter right that is yellow, should I perhaps try 'ought' for my second guess to see if I can get one in the correct place? Or should I try other words that don't contain any of the same letters, so for example 'bends' and 'fairy'?

It’s a bit of a guessing game really I think @PeterPipper.

Today I got one green in row one so I guessed it might be he middle one and used a word that repeated that letter in the same position. It said I had one green again. I risked that I was correct but I might well not have been!
