Do you think he and Trump bonded over choosing the best products for deal8ng with this?
Not meaning to laugh at incontinence, just Trump and Musk.

SerendipityJane · 05/01/2025 16:20

"Live by the tweet. Die by the tweet" 😀

TooBigForMyBoots · 05/01/2025 16:24

I've been following this on GB News since it broke. Their reporting that Tommmeh Lennon wants Ben Habib to be leader of Reform.

Nana Akua asked Ben if he would consider it, Ben said "yes". He's being quite critical of Farage.

So even being one of the richest men in the world won't save you

He'd genuinely be able to type PMSL, though.

What we need to do now, is start a subtle (or maybe not so subtle, I don't think Nasty Nige is that perceptive) media suggestion that Musk shafted Farage because someone in Reform has been dripping poison into Musk ear.

The Fury of Farage would be a thing to behold.

Who knows. With all the Farage feelers, and the fact that it's obvious MN is under close scrutiny by these titans, this single posting, suggesting that a senior Reform subscriber could be the catalyst might just do the trick.

I did like the GBNews commentators surprised this has happened because "Farage is never out of Florida". Which anyone in Clacton could tell you.

Florida Farage - the alliteration cannot be stopped. (Nor, it seems, can the half rhymes ...)

Grumpy I’m with you, why is he doing it, just because he can what is his agenda?

Another perplexed.

Not only about his motivation but rather we all know there's foreign influence in politics here and abroad.

But although quite obvious at least they are subtle about it!

bombastix · 05/01/2025 15:37

I do not think that is how ketamine works. It’s a horse tranquiliser that can make you incontinent

Well he is spewing a load of shit .......🤔🫣

Nigel Farage would then set up a new party at some point, assuming that some or all of the other reform MPs would join him.

How many would that make? Reform’s about the third, isn’t it?

Nigel Farage owns Reform.

End of.

PandoraSox · 05/01/2025 17:12

This is excellent. Reform stabbing each other in the back. Has 30p said anything?

I must admit I've neem enjoying it.

They say back and encourage someone to throw shit in to the uk - not realising some of it would stick to them.

Oh how the tide can turn!

Maybe Musk should buy it off him.🤣

Indeed. I still think Musk should keep his beak out of the UK, but it is hilarious that he has chosen Farage as his next target.

RafaistheKingofClay · 05/01/2025 17:45

Don’t underestimate Farage. There’s a reason he won’t support TR. it would be toxic if he wants to increase reform support and to a proportion of their current support base. It’s why he separated himself yesterday. And Musk and the rest of reform are seriously deluded if they think they have anything like the support of Farage.
Even with Musk’s money I think it’s going to be hard to win much if you are essentially splitting a base of people that think Farage is a bit left wing for them.

RafaistheKingofClay · 05/01/2025 17:50

BIossomtoes · 05/01/2025 17:09

It is the third UKIP, Brexit Party, Reform. All of those are a Farage fan club and the support base follows wherever he goes.

Something I’m not sure Musk is aware of.

DuncinToffee · 05/01/2025 17:59

Farage is going after Conservative voters, support for SYL will scare them away

He is a grifter

For me, the best part is imagining the grin on Keir Starmers face ...

bombastix · 05/01/2025 18:13

Give Farage his due - he’s never allowed SYL the join his parties

Agree he is after Conservative voters. I think he will get them. Along with Labour ones unless they do something about immigration rates. But if I were Kemi Badenoch I’d be very worried

We all know that Fartage secretly despises a lot of his fans - the beer instead of the preferred g&t and the cigars are/were just to 'look' like he's a normal bloke, not an ex city stockbroker - perhaps SYL is a step further than he can actually hold his nose against! More pragmatically I think he's trying to model both 'man of the people' and 'respectability', to get the most votes, SYL just wouldn't get many votes Reform weren't already getting, but also turn many more 'respectable' ones against the Reform business.
Farage did say in his acceptance to being an MP he was going after Labour voters next - he will only do this via migration issues I think, but I also think extremely few Labour voters would go for a party with SYL in - and same for normal Tories realistically.
He is being practical, and unfortunately has a good 'nose' for understanding what folk want to hear/see/vote for - I was hoping not enough of them would go for him at the ballot box, as knowing he is officially in British politics just makes me not want to watch/listen at all in case he turns up or is mentioned (yes I am that repulsed!) but fair dos it is now turning out to be amusing at least!!
