Mr B called for a GP appointment this morning and he’s being seen tomorrow afternoon, with a further appointment next week for his B12 shot. It’s good to see he’s not alone with good access.

My DS was offered a meds review on a Saturday in order to speed up the change to his medication, with a followup last Saturday morning. It's definitely not all bad.

And we are seeing a significant improvement in his depression symptoms even after only 2 weeks, and he's only on a third of the dose he is being titrated to. It's transformative.

Hooray for good access for routine-ish stuff.

He is really losing it. Latest tweet says something about UK police having figer guns, whilst US has real guns. Or something.

Meanwhile. Badenoch is busy misinterpreting Starmer's speech on Twitter and drawing even more attention to what he said about her (because we all know who he meant).

The next PMQs will be interesting..

Badenoch accuses Starmer of using 'smear tactics' against her

Kemi Badenoch has accused Keir Starmer of using “smear tactics” against her.

Ignoring the conventional PR wisdom that it is a mistake to publicise attacks from opponents, she has responded to Starmer in a post on social media including a clip from his Q&A earlier.

Starmer is applying Labour smear tactics from 20 years ago and thinks they will work today. He is a man of the past with no answers for today’s problems, let alone tomorrow’s.
That such a huge scandal could occur should prompt soul-searching not ranting that those of us who care about it are “the far-right”.

As I said earlier, if you read Starmer’s quotes in full (see 10.39am and 10.57am), it is clear that he was not saying that anyone concerned about gang-rape is on the far right. He was referring to the way far-right provocateurs like Elon Musk and Tommy Robinson have exploited this issue, and criticising Conservatives who have aligned themselves with their position, by for example not condemning Musk’s comments about Jess Phillips.

The responses to the leader of the opposition’s post on X are interesting. The only person supporting her is my MP 😱

Wait until Badenoch finds out who was the Women and Equalities minister from Oct 22 and could have put the recommendations in place.

Andrew McIntyre, 39, started "Southport Wake Up" and also attended disorder in Southport on 30 July and in Liverpool on 3 August himself.

He was jailed for seven-and-a-half years

This one isn’t difficult. All she has to sit and do is to say you shouldn’t call MPs rape genocide supporters and that it is dangerous. There’s no real grey area here even the densest politician ought to be able to deal with this one easily.

So it’s a bit rich to be calling other people out for politicising shit. Honestly, they really do need to find a grown up to put in charge of the Tory party.
