My 15 year-old granddaughter arrived today for a few days - currently she's bingeing on Dynasty on Neftlix.

I'm half watching with her - it's dire!

Who knew there was a modern-day Dynasty!

She had a lie in and now is doing a 2000 piece puzzle with DH and brothers who are coming and going. This afternoon she is planning on baking cookies and maybe playing computer games with the brothers

Both of them went into the city to see what they could buy in the sales. They are now home and their boyfriends are over watching TV.

Dd 16 walked to town with her friends.
Now in room watching Squid games.

She has just asked to go for a Pokemon drive so guess we will do that now in the dark and the mist.

Walking home from the local high street according to the location sharing on WhatsApp she just put on.
She has been to the city centre with her best friend to spend some Christmas money on random plastic models from Pop Mart, then came home to get her new camera and went back out to do her gcse photography homework.

One of them is laid on a sofa and on her phone playing something on Roblox.
The other one ( 13 year old twins ) is upstairs , in her room, and probably doing the same thing, whilst laid in bed with maybe Netflix or Disney on in the background.

18year old DD is currently in bed napping after a shower. To be fair she was working all day in an accessible play space for children with additional needs so has had a busy day 😁

We’re in between visiting olds so have a day at home. dd15 has been laying on her bed staring at tic tok for hours. I think she did a home work and some sewing earlier.
ds16 has been staring at his pc all day.

Generally we only see them for food but might try watching squid game or Wednesday new series later.

Dd1 is playing Fortnight 🙄. She seems to have forgotten she helped contribute to the mess in the kitchen so will shortly be summonsed to help tidy it!

Dd2 is showering - it's her 15th birthday tomorrow so she's getting ready to host one of her best friends for a sleepover 😊

Spent the day with her GPs, currently reading a Christmas book.

14 yr old went to a friend's house today, just been picked up by DH and on the way home. Early night as training early in the morning.

@Globules do you mean to say it's possible not to have 17 crochet projects on the go simultaneously 😱 asking for a friend, obvs!

Rotating between her Cosy new armchair in her room, her bed and the downstairs sofa, and mixing up drawing, viewing tiktoks and learning something on her guitar.

Well, they identify as non-binary but for purposes of this thread... they've been doing A level revision, went into town with some friends. One mate is having a bit of a mental health wobble so they are staying out with them to keep them company

We just got back from visiting MIL and she drove all the way (she's 17 and learning to drive), which was quite hard (dark, foggy, busy). Now she's chilling out in her room.

DD19 is on her way to Nandos with her bf to get dinner. She has been working all day. DH usually does the cooking but didn't fancy making one tonight. We're picking all day and not hungry enough so asked her if it was OK to sort self. He transfers the money. She's v happy with that.

Both of mine are watching vampire diaries together, under a duvet and eating chromas chocolate

She's done some revision for her A Levels then has been into Manchester with us and her brothers, for cocktails (mocktails) lunch and shopping. She's now at work (in a local bistro).

She won't be out of bed until lunch time tomorrow!!

Cleaning out some space in her wardrobe so she can fit Xmas pressies in.

DD1 (17) has spent most of today in bed doing I know not what. First thing, when the voucher landed in her email, she spent the whole thing at Hollister. I offered to take her for driving practice but she declined! She is now at work (6pm-til) at the pub on the corner.
DD2 (14) has spent most of today in bed, sometimes her own, sometimes DD1's. We are planning to watch a DVD around 7pm

Both DDs have emerged briefly but regularly for sustenance.

D-Niece (15) has, according to BIL, been revising for GCSE-mocks.
D-Nephew (18) came to my house this morning with aforementioned BIL to sort my tech. The printer is working; the DVD player is working and the lights in the living room just needed new bulbs.

DD is 15
Today she's cleaned her rabbit out, and hoovered the living room (the rabbit has now thrown his food all over the living room rug, so it needs hoovering again)
Tidied her bedroom
Done some colouring with her new pens
Now she's sat watching Brooklyn nine nine.

DD (19) is in bed watching TikTok on her phone. She hasn’t left her bed today other than to eat a quick meal. Today is the 7th anniversary of my dad dying, she still finds it extremely difficult so I’ve let her know I’m here if she needs me but otherwise I’m just leaving her to it. She’s back to work tomorrow after a few days off so it’s good that she’s resting up anyway.
