My 15 year-old granddaughter arrived today for a few days - currently she's bingeing on Dynasty on Neftlix.

I'm half watching with her - it's dire!

Who knew there was a modern-day Dynasty!

It's so lovely to see what they're all up to today

We're just back from the pub where DGD had fish & chips and a coke whilst bemoaning how boring country living is... and threatening to come and live with me in London!

DD13 joined DH and I for a country walk then a pub lunch earlier, a nice contrast to yesterday when she spent the entire day in her pyjamas watching tictok on her phone and eating candy kitten sweets!

We are about up have a supper and play the game of life together.

DD16 has been to gym today. I met her after in town for some shopping. Came home, watched some TV together. She's got a wedding tomorrow with her BF so I've painted her toe nails. She's currently washing her hair.

19 year old home from uni is at a sleepover with old friends. Either they are singing along to a Wii or baking cookies or whatever - they are in the garden room of one of the kids houses so left to their own devices.

One supposedly revising, the other beautifying herself.

16 and right now she's making very fancy origami boxes. I think she's spent a fair amount of the day starting a new star wars armour costume.

One was revising earlier and now round at a friend’s house. The other has been swimming with friends in the North Sea 🥶, I suspect a fire on the beach was also involved.

19 year old has gone out for a nice meal with her boyfriend.
14 year old is out roller skating, eating food at the Trafford centre and then a sleep over at a mates.

17 year old got up about half 12 and drove me to morrisons for a salad after I finished work. Currently having a rare moment and watching guardians of the galaxy 3 with us rather than upstairs on her phone. She's already thinking about being back at work Monday.

Sitting on my legs and watching Batman with her Dad and Brothers. Makes a nice change from her hibernating in her bedroom!

We went shopping together this morning as she was given some vouchers for Christmas. Had an early lunch, followed by a dog walk, got home, I got the fire going whilst she loaded a tray with a pot of tea and Christmas cake, boys (son and husband) came in and we watched a couple of films. She snuggled up next to me....completely unheard of as she generally hates anyone in her space or anything demonstrative (ASD). It was so lovely 🥰. I luffs her so much.

Mine has spent the day playing Sims, watching episodes of Charmed and is now playing risk.

17 is in bed watching The Office . 19 is out somewhere
