Both mine come from the same winery. Purely coincidence. This is not a promotion, bribe, advert etc.

Dark Horse Cabernet Sauvignon
Dark Horse Chardonnay

I also quite like Bigfoot Zinfandel.

I'm not keen on rose, by and large.

There's also an Italian red from Waitrose that qualifies at £9.99. I can't remember its name but it is organic and begins with N. It's often discounted which helps enormously.

The chicken rosé is quite drinkable.

Cono Sur Bicicler Viognier - yummy.

Waitrose Blue Label wines are usually very good. I really rate their Pinot Noir from Romania.

MrsPeregrine · 29/11/2024 22:25

Dark Horse and Yellow Tail are both nice.

Printedword · 29/11/2024 22:26

Hidden Vines Primitivo - currently on offer at the Coop

Most of the Coop Fair Trade wines

M and S have some good ones around the £9 mark

Binman · 29/11/2024 22:26

Currently on offer so even better value but usually about £7.99

I'm not ashamed to admit this but I quite like the 19 crimes range.

Bjorkdidit · 29/11/2024 22:27

Cava or Cremant.

Fizbosshoes · 29/11/2024 22:30

I like barefoot merlot, which is real cheapy.

JC03745 · 29/11/2024 22:31

I used to love Villa Maria savingnon blanc, but recently changed to 19 Crimes Chardonnay.

Any red from Western Australia is very good and anything from McGuigan is also great.

I second the chicken rose

Snowontheroof · 29/11/2024 22:56

Vanita Negroamaro from the Co-op, if you like a very heavy red.

boulevardofbrokendreamss · 29/11/2024 23:01

The chicken wine is ok, I quite like trivento Malbec, or the Waitrose blue labels. I don't like the ones you mentioned

TheTecknician · 29/11/2024 23:08

Wolf Blass Red Label Chardonnay Semillon is another good white. Verdiccio too if you like fancy bottles and Steely dryness.

Waitrose or M nS Provence rose, any Primitivo. I quite like a Shiraz too. Also have some award winning wines around £10. I like Cava too, it's far superior to Prosecco.

PuppyMonkey · 29/11/2024 23:46

Morrisons The Best Pay D’oc Chardonnay - should be about £9.95 but you can usually get it on offer or 25% off for 6 bottles etc.

(from Aldi)

MrsMoggy · 30/11/2024 00:25

Gallo white Grenache rose- about £6/£6.50
Aldi Asti-about £5

TheFormidableMrsC · 30/11/2024 00:49

Guv'nor Red

Jam Shed Shiraz

A lovely Sauvignon blanc from Aldi but I can't remember the name.

Another Aldi one, Pinot Grigio.

Chicken wine as we like to call it (La Vielle Ferme)

JBJ · 30/11/2024 00:50

I'm more of a rose drinker, but also like a white wine. My favourite white Zinfandels are from Aldi and Lidl and I'm also very fond of the rose and white from Jamshed - apparently the reds are very good too.

MessyNeate · 30/11/2024 01:43

Barefoot fizzy pink moscato or the normal moscato

AuntieMarys · 30/11/2024 04:56

Aldi organic Malbec
