@TashaMumsnet is there anywhere discounting ASICS trainers/walking shoes? I'm looking for black, waterproof and ladies size 8. I have found a few deals elsewhere that fit your brief, but they're mainly on running-focused shoes - would you be open to running shoes that are also good for walking or do they need to have more of flat sole? 😊

@Icantfindanewname I've done a lot of digging on the best types of Asics for walking and on second glance I'm struggling with the brand - they're either still over £100, not reduced in price, or not waterproof!

I've found a few options from other brands - sorry I couldn't help further with the Asics - hopefully they'll have a better Boxing Day sale if you can hold off until then 🤞

Otherwise I'd personally recommend Innside. It's a Melia hotel (their hotels are gorgeous) and very close to Castle Street, Liverpool One and the Albert Docks.
