Mumsnetters rate Bose for speakers. The Bose SoundLink Micro Bluetooth Speaker is currently £80 (was £120) and available in a choice of colours.

I can vouch for the Roberts Revival Petite (a cute radio AND speaker) which I have in my kitchen and accompanies us on our family travels - it's £89 at Fenwick (not a huge saving but seems to be £99 everywhere else).

JBL is offering 33% off the waterproof JBL Clip 5

Desire Deluxe Magnetic Tiles (57pc) - good value for such a big set. I've actually bought these for my 2yo for Xmas! Set is now £21 (was £27)

Alternatively, Connetix are really popular on Mumsnet - you can read our Connetix review here - and John Lewis have a 20% off deal on a 20-piece set, now £23

There's also 25% off the classic Magna-Tiles 32pc set, now £30

Is the telescope also for a younger child? If so, there's 20% off on the John Lewis My First Telescope, now £14

As for craft sets, I'm a big fan of the Play-doh playsets. There are lots of good Black Friday deals on those at Argos at the moment. Doesn't look like it's available there, but the Play-Doh Kitchen Creations Busy Chef's Restaurant Playset is my favourite, on offer over on Amazon for £17.

Alternatively, you can also pick up the digital edition (this one doesn't have a disc drive, but games can be downloaded) at Argos for £310 (saving £60).

Hi @XiomarasHandbag - I've had a look at what other MNers are recommending on the boards and it seems it all depends on what your teen needs the watch for as different models have different features.

Does he need one with GPS capabilities? Fitness tracker? Have phone capabilities? Or simply to help tell the time during his day?

We do have our roundup of the best kids smartwatches, and the only one on there that's discounted at the moment for Black Friday is the XPLORA X6 Play (was £179, now £145), which looks quite nice and would last a few years IMO.

Hi @Smileynightnanny most heated throws are corded, apart from the Stoov Huge Hug (review here) - Stoov aren't not having a Black Friday sale unfortunately, but they do a great range of cordless heated cushions and chair covers which might be worth a look.

Your best bet is probably something wearable, like this portable heated shawl:

12l is the most popular dehumidifier size, and is perfect for drying laundry, this Pro Breeze 12l/Day Dehumidifier is a good price at £115 (was £166), plus Pro Breeze is another trusted budget dehumidifier brand.

Meaco are the best of the best when it comes to dehumidifiers. They're sadly not having a Black Friday sale, but I did find this MeacoDry ABC 10L Compressor Dehumidifier with £10 off - now £140.

This is exactly the right place to ask! Next don't participate in Black Friday, but they do have a sale section that's worth a browse.

They're likely to go into their big winter sale on Christmas Day online, and Boxing Day in stores, as they have done in recent years.

If you're on the lookout for a dining table, Oak Furniture Land have some huge discounts, as do DUSK

Another for 8 and up, 4M KidzLabs Anti Gravity Magnetic Levitation Kit has a huge 54% off - was £25, now £11

This one looks good for a 12 year old: Construct & Create 14 In 1 Solar Robot Kit, was £24, now £20

As does this: EIGHT Advent Calendar Kit - Electronic Games, only a tiny discount but it looks so cool, £22

Snap Circuits are creative and suit all ages from 8 up:

You're right @CultureAlienationBoredomandDespair it looks like most retailers are price matching on Apple Products.

I think your best bet is the Apple Black Friday shopping event, they're offering vouchers of up to £160 when you buy eligible products direct from Apple - I've had a look and iPads, pencils and keyboards are all included.
