Most you’ve spent on concert tickets?

I’ve been to many concerts and the most I’ve spent on a ticket is £170 to see Lady Gaga at her Chromatica Ball tour.

I opted for golden circle tickets so the price reflects that. I was right at the barrier and it was the best night of my entire life.

I’m a diehard Lady Gaga fan and I would not pay for golden circle tickets for any other singer/band!

£180 each for 2 to see Bruce Springsteen earlier this year.... Worth every penny..

LittleRedRidingHoody · 27/11/2024 15:13

£120 each for Elton John's last ever London show - worth every penny!

Came close to spending silly money on Taylor Swift when I couldn't get tickets, but held my nerve and got some through Ticketmaster eventually. As a general rule of thumb I won't spend more than £100.

I saw Elton John at the O2 for that tour too. I wasn’t there for that specific date, though!

£125 each. To see the Led Zeppelin reunion concert at the O2.

This was back in 2007. I thought it was an insane amount of money to spend on one event but it was the gig of a lifetime. Little did I know hat 10 years later that wouldn't even get you into the back row of many concerts.

Wow! That must have been worth every penny!

To me it was. I got very lucky. There was an online ballot to see who got to buy tickets and I would guess millions of people entered.

desigma · 27/11/2024 15:23

£250 each to see Springsteen at Hyde Park last year. Golden circle tickets. Absolutely worth it. Best concert ever and I've been to dozens and seen some amazing artists.

MorrisZapp · 27/11/2024 15:24

£150 to see Billy Joel at Murrayfield next summer, can't wait!

£500 per head for my son and nephew to see Scotland play in the Euros this summer in Germany, worth every damn penny. Unforgettable.

Fireplacestockings · 27/11/2024 15:26

£150 for Taylor Swift, worth every penny!

LilacLilyBird · 27/11/2024 15:27

£90 to see Adele at the O2 years ago

It was amazing and I was adamant I had to see her live no matter what

Thankfully she added in extra dates so I got fairly decent tickets

mitogoshigg · 27/11/2024 15:28

£150 for Peter Gabriel, really good seats on the floor.

Taylor Swift was cheaper at £110

Adele is top of my 'must see' list! One of these days 🤞

TokyoSushi · 27/11/2024 15:30

Nearly £1000 (total) for x4 tickets to see Coldplay at Wembley next summer, DH & I have seen them lots of times, but never with the (early teen) DC who love them, so it's a massive treat!

iloveshetlandponies · 27/11/2024 15:31

I've spent almost a grand on 3 VIP diamond access tickets for Olivia Rodrigo at Hyde park for next summer

It's for me and my DDs, it's the DDs first big festival so I want it to be as comfortable an experience as possible

TorroFerney · 27/11/2024 15:31

Just spent £260 on two Lana del rey tickets. Decent seats.

Oh I'd have loved to have gone

It was almost impossible to get tickets , lucky you

Blackcountryexile · 27/11/2024 15:31

£150 for Taylor Swift at Wembley. Considering she was on stage for 3 hours it was great value for money,
I'd pay that at least that much for Bruce Springsteen. I also saw him at Hyde Park and he was beyond amazing.

Anonym00se · 27/11/2024 15:34

I’ve paid £250 each for the Eagles. £200 for ELO. £185 each for Paul McCartney, and £150+ for Stevie Wonder, Kate Bush, Elton John and Billy Joel.

FuckItItsFine · 27/11/2024 15:36

I haven’t been yet, but my mum and I have paid £180 each to see Billy Joel next year. We went to see him in 2005ish and I think the tickets were £60 each and seemed steep as hell at the time!

Mrsprofessor83 · 27/11/2024 15:36

£185 for P!NK summer Carnival tickets June this year.

Not great seats but do get a free carer ticket so excellent value for me. I'd have struggled to justify spending that much on our low income for 2 tickets but I'm glad I did because she's been my bucket list show for over 20 years!

Daschund · 27/11/2024 15:36

£135 each for Roger Waters at Wembley about six years ago. I paid around £95 to see him at The O2 a few years earlier.

I got Lana Del Rey tickets today too. We paid £112 per ticket (including fees). Rear standing

I spent £300 on a meet and greet ticket for my favourite band in 2019 - I knew it was a once in a lifetime thing then covid hit and they've never done meet and greets since so I'm so glad I did that.

popandchoc · 27/11/2024 15:50

Just under £200 per ticket for Taylor Swift. Well worth it though.
