Can you guess the calories in this?

I've never ordered it so not sure on actual size/depth of the container, but if you ordered this, what would you guesstimate the calories to be?

Description is: Pork Gyros marinated in Greek herbs, Halloumi fries and olive oil. Served inside a box with our Greek handmade pita with lettuce, tomatoes, red
onions, parsley, oregano fries and a dip of your choice.

Bonus points if you can get a total with the 'dip of your choice' being tzatziki...

The actual calories are cropped out so I do have the answer!

Can you guess the calories in this?

I don't really know much about how many calories are in things but I reckon I could last the day on just that.

Comedycook · 12/11/2024 11:46

Looks delicious.

I'd guess 1100

ApolloandDaphne · 12/11/2024 11:47

A lot! 1600?

Womblingmerrily · 12/11/2024 11:48

1500kcal

BobbyBiscuits · 12/11/2024 11:48

Nearly 2000? The halloumi, chips, dip etc. and the meat is probably quite fatty.

Kleptronic · 12/11/2024 11:48

I'm going for >1600

Bjorkdidit · 12/11/2024 11:48

I wouldn't even try but the guesses already are probably in the right ball park based on what you see on menus.

Possibly fatty meat, halloumi, oil, bread, tzatziki and fries all add up.

At the risk of bringing on the 'teeny tiny' accusations, I'd probably not be able to eat it all in one go so wouldn't be too bad for a days food, topped up by another light meal like porridge, eggs or soup.

It's when you see it as one meal and eat two other normal meals on the same day that make it too big/too many calories.

Wordau · 12/11/2024 11:50

I'm going with 1400 but can't really tell how much dressing / oil there is.

I'm guessing 400 for fries, 400 for meat, 300 for cheese, 100 for dressing. Negligible for salad. Add another 200 for tzatziki.

INeedNewShoes · 12/11/2024 11:50

I reckon it'll be high calorie but at least it also has nutritional value.

1400 maybe

GroovyChick87 · 12/11/2024 11:51

Hard to judge the size of it but I'd think over a thousand if there's cheese, fries, bread and creamy dip. I'd eat that as my weekend treat if I really fancied it but was watching my calorie count.

Oh I missed the pitta! So 1650.

CookieMonster28 · 12/11/2024 11:51

That looks bloody delicious

I'd say 1600-1800 cals

NerdWhoEatsMedlar · 12/11/2024 11:52

Quite potentially >2,000 cals

dontmindthegap · 12/11/2024 11:52

1800

Normallynumb · 12/11/2024 11:53

1650kcals

BaronessBomburst · 12/11/2024 11:54

Go low carb. Don't eat the pitta bread and you're fine.

turkeymuffin · 12/11/2024 11:55

2000

Tinkerbellflowers · 12/11/2024 11:59

Is that chips as well as halloumi fries? I guess 2000 calories.

buffyspikefaith · 12/11/2024 12:00

Around 1100

user1497787065 · 12/11/2024 12:00

I'm guessing around 2000 but can't believe anyone would pay £15.95 for it. It looks disgusting.

Agree it looks disgusting.

Bjorkdidit · 12/11/2024 12:02

I think it looks really nice.

I've found it now on google and it's actually lower than I thought, especially with the description of 'the beast pork gyros box'. That's never going to be a low calorie option although it will certainly satisfy the protein fans - 85 g!
