One in Loughton too. I think it’s nicer than McDonalds for a quick meal out.

I saw one in swanage in the summer, considered going as it felt so nostalgic but my god it felt expensive when we looked at the menu, so we went for fish and chips in the end.
judging from similar conversations we overheard we weren’t the only ones who did the same!

We have one in Morden, South London. Only 15 mins walk from home and great for Saturday lunch.

They’re in Colchester & Felixstowe.

I used to work in one many moons ago. Banana long boat, knickerbocker glory, brown derby, strawberry or chocolate nut sundae 😀 not forgetting your ice cream float and your choice of strawberry, chocolate, banana, vanilla or lime milk shakes. I could go on!!! £3 a day was my Saturday job pay!!! Was 45 years ago!!! All you could eat for your lunch and breaks.

That's the funniest little Wimpy. I drove past it over the summer as my daughter had a cricket match at Milford Hall, it was like stepping back in time.

It’s astonishing as when you go into a motorway service station and see they’ve still got a Wimpy.

There's one in eastbourne. There was a mourning period when the one in Peacehaven closed.

One opened up near me quite recently. Always dead inside , I tried it for the first time last week as the kids swore blind it’s amazing and have to say it was better than McDonald’s.

There's one in Leigh on Sea and there was one in Southend but that was a few years back, and I d don't know if its still there.

@ginasevern didn't there used to be one on Union Street and another next to the Hippodrome in Bristol or am I thinking of other fast food outlets.
Did they also serve the meals on proper plates?

There’s one in Shrewsbury. I haven’t been in in yet as I’m sure I’ll be disappointed, I used to love a Wimpy special grill in the 80s.

One in south Benfleet ( Essex)
It was featured on the ' one show' ( bbc one) once as it's been there forever !
There are a few around in southend on sea ( also Essex) and one in my town too
Maybe only the Essex ones are still about ? Or a few are now franchises or something like that?
(I've never seen one up north or at service stations. )
