4.40am here. Ages 2 & 3.

I'm already exhausted from moving house last week and have a cold, so feeling very sorry for myself this morning.

Just a thread for those who want to join me in having a moan!

6am so 5am😢

Allnewtometoo · 27/10/2024 06:44

By 6.20am they were both in bed with me. Not too awful really! They've got up and gone downstairs.

Jellybean85 · 27/10/2024 06:44

Dead on 5am which I suppose isn't terrible and is technical 6 lol but it's been a long week and this feels like it will be a long day

Ohthatsabitshit · 27/10/2024 06:44

The clocks went back and it’s half term so really only twenty to 6 and no school run to stress about.

I know, but there's something so horrible about getting woken up at that time, even if I know it's technically 5.40! It's also much earlier than their usual wake up time of 6.30... I would have felt far less depressed with a 5.30 start!

5:40am, usually it's about 7:15am, so still managed to get up 35 mins earlier than what would have been normal for him and worse for us with that hour!

UnderOverUp · 27/10/2024 06:48

Amazingly, 6.30 in new money. There is light at the end of the tunnel OP, a couple of years ago when mine were the age of yours it was 4am on this Sunday!

SparklyLimeJoker · 27/10/2024 06:51

3:15 😴

Potentiallyplausible · 27/10/2024 06:52

Still asleep.

Awrite · 27/10/2024 06:53

Not my kids but my own brain - 5.23am. All this chat of an extra hour in bed and my brain thinks 'I'll show you ...'

I'm not impressed.

Newsenmum · 27/10/2024 06:53

Half 4 which is half 5 for them

biiiigbday · 27/10/2024 06:54

4:50 😭

lemonyfox · 27/10/2024 06:55

4am. And it's so annoying because we pushed bedtime back all week this week and he was consistently waking up at 7am ish. The bang, clocks go back and he's up at 4am (or 5am otherwise). Come on!!!

He's 3, nearly 4. Always been an early riser unfortunately.

genesis92 · 27/10/2024 06:56

4.45 😭😭😭

pinksavannah · 27/10/2024 06:56

Also 4:40 18 months and normally 7 😭
Currently trying to hold back on the coffee so I can hopefully nap when he naps 🤞

Flubadubba · 27/10/2024 06:58

5 year old DD is surprisingly still asleep at 7am. We did let her stay up until 9 last night, though.

Me? 5 30am...

CeeJay81 · 27/10/2024 06:58

I'm up before them, which is normal anyway. I work early 2 to 3 days a week and I just couldn't stay up much later last night. They are older now though. I still remember those days but def don't miss them

Fisharenotfoods · 27/10/2024 07:00

6.50…….i bloody love our grow clock. I moved it back last night with hope and it would work.

kikisparks · 27/10/2024 07:01

Got sooooo lucky. Yesterday DD (aged 3) was up at 5.38 so I was braced for 4.30 this morning. She got up at 6! (Equivalent to 7). Such a treat. Her wake times really vary though so could be before 5 tomorrow.

Mumistiredzzzz · 27/10/2024 07:03

Just after 6, so equivalent to just after 7. Sill feel knackered though 🤣

LostittoBostik · 27/10/2024 07:04

Eldest was moving around at 5.30am, she was reading in her room so just left her to it. Toddler woke at 6. Could have been much worse and has been in the past)

IesuGrist1975 · 27/10/2024 07:06

4.20am, my turn for getting up (we do one morning each on weekends). My daughter is 4, I was hoping she’d be over this stage by now.

The only thing keeping me sane is that all her siblings used to wake early and love a lie in now so I know it’ll come one day 😴.

Vettrianofan · 27/10/2024 06:44

6am so 5am😢

Same here 😭😭

dorabora · 27/10/2024 07:07

2 year old was up at 5am, my 8 month old was stirring most the night to be honest ! She eventually kicked off about 5:40am 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

JustRollWithIt · 27/10/2024 07:10

Oh I remember these days well. Then eventually they readjust to the new time 6 months later when the clocks go forward again!! Confused
