DH's taxi will be collecting him at 2am. He's off back to sea for 12 weeks 🥲

No point sleeping until he's gone. So I'm watching MAFS UK whilst he's in the shower and packing up the last few little bits

I have a pretty busy day tomorrow so hoping once he's left I can get some sleep, I'm always sad when he goes though. This time home we got married and went on honeymoon 😁

Me and DH are up watching TV, not sure why we haven't gone to bed yet though 😅

Nightshift in a family service, babies all asleep, parents not so much 😂. Hope the goodbyes not too awful, as a former seafarer, you have my sympathies

I’m in Canada, 7 hours behind. And it is currently snowing!

I'm ill and annoyed as I had loads of plans for the next 2 days and had to cancel them all
It's like a cross between norovirus and flu

I have a busy week ahead at work and only just had a chance to tidy up and get ready for it
Now just decompressin in bed

My 6 month old has only just gone down after screaming for hours. This is the first chance I've had to myself ALL day.

I'm awake because of the high winds here freaking me out.

OP my DH goes away for up to about 2/3 months at a time so I understand how you feel.

I actually haven’t a clue. I haven’t been working for reasons I won’t say, but since I don’t have anything to get up for I can’t sleep - I’m just not tired ! Partner is fast asleep and has been for hours now. I’m just looking at holidays for next year.

Love MAFS ! I’ve actually been watching it with headphones in to fall asleep to. That Polly is awful isn’t she ?! Not good vibes.

@Drinkdrinkduuurink I’m in Northern Alberta. It isn’t unusual and it’s a little early. The daytime temperatures can still be pleasantly warm, so it won’t come to much.

It has snowed in the Rockies on and off for the last few weeks but the daytime temperatures see it off.

Forecasted to start getting “colder” next week.

Ruminating and anxious about my relationship with my partner and unsure whether or not we are compatible- also concerned about her attitude to, and relationship with, alcohol, her inability to control her anger and the fact that she has openly said, in relation to both of these matters, that "this is who I am, and I am not going to change".

Feel sad, slightly frustrated and that I am useful, but not important! Sorry for the negativity.

I'm moving into night shift mode....have a set of 7 night shifts starting tomorrow night so this is how I shift to that work pattern

Stayed up til 4am last night, got up at 2pm

Sitting up with the dogs as I’m feeling ill with a sore throat and cough plus I’m very fed up.
DH told me today to stop feeling sorry for myself. I’ve just finished cancer treatment and I’m struggling with the physical and emotional after effects but I should apparently stop “being miserable as Chris Hoy is terminal and being very positive and not sitting around feeling sorry for himself like you!”
I’m feeling very hurt but angry at the same time, how dare he tell me how to feel when I’m the one who’s had cancer! I can’t switch my brain off to go to sleep even though I’m very very tired.

Foolishly stayed up til 1am watching The Boys, now can't sleep because the wind is trying to invite itself in
