Inverted / V bum

Posting here for traffic. I just realised I have a V/ inverted bum. I have enough projection so it looks ok with clothes on, but in underwear it's a completely different story. Has anybody been able to fix it?

That was just the best diagram I could find. It's not as uncommon as many other ladies describe the same "issue" on Reddit.

You can’t change your basic shape unless you have surgery, so just forget about it.

This is so depressing. I teach teenagers and to think that they are hearing this crap about how their butt looks from the side and back (Reddit thread linked above). No wonder there are so many mental health issues when something so trivial becomes a thing.

I don't understand the diagram. "Round" is exactly the same as "heart shaped".

Brings me back to drawing on a mirror in eyeliner to find out what shaped face I had before deciding on what kind of fringe to have in.

When I was young everyone wanted a flat arse, while I had a round one. I didn’t understand why they wanted a flat one but then you get older and realize that people have preferences and it’s ok.

And I don't understand the inverted/V shape -her arse isn't wider at the top than at the bottom and the only v is her knicker line.

Well that's how the V works. It's fuller at the top and then concave on the sides 2/3 of the bum. It's kind of hard to explain but it's related to the infamous hip dips

I searched the internet high and low and couldn’t find the same kind of chart for men, their bums and their pants anywhere.

FFS, it's 2024. Who comes up with this twaddle.

A young mother died in September following Bum Surgery, to get a round bum.

Instead of staring at your arse in the mirror spend a bit of time researching how the female body has been subjected to an ever changing ideal. It's not a winter coat you're choosing, it is your body. You get what you get, and at some point over the course of your life it will probably be "in fashion" for a stint.

Anyone with a big bum in the 60's was hating it as much as you're hating your bum now, and longing for something nice and flat. It's all such a waste of energy, it's a very good way to keep women down and feeling inadequate, that's all.

Step away from the mirror, I can promise you that nothing amazing is going to happen if you suddenly wake up tomorrow with a massive round arse. The world will keep turning.

Ok I just looked up ‘hip dips’. FFS this is all so ridiculous. Women being told that perfectly normal body shapes are a problem. Who makes this shit up?

I remember talking about bum shape in my teens. Haven't thought about it since. Unless you're a model it doesn't matter and anyone looking and judging is weird.

Think of it like this. You may have the bum of the future without realising it. If someone would have told me in the 90s that big bums would be all the rage I’d have laughed but here we are 🤷‍♀️
