Fragrances of the decades!

For me the 90s are Sunflowers - Elizabeth Arden, but I grew up in the US so not sure if it was the same in the UK? Every girl I knew doused herself in Sunflowers.

What about the other decades?

Georgio Beverly Hills - early 90’s for me, along with Red, Lou Lou and Beautiful.

Later 90’s was JPG original and Issey Miyake.

Body Shop Dewberry as a tween/ young teen.

Charlie Red.

Tommy Girl.

CKOne.

The 90's smells like CK One and Jean Paul Gaultier because those are the two my mam wore when I was a kid. I love them!

I wore Anaïs Anaïs the other day, several people asked me what my 'lovely perfume' was. After that I'm ordering some L'air du Temps too 😂

Cool water and eternity (for men and women) late 90s

In the eighties I started wearing Jessica McClintock. She had a fancy dress line initially called gunne sack(spelling?) then called Jessica McClintock and introduced fragrance. It was a white floral and I STILL
wear it today. And I still receive compliments on it. Every time I try to change over to a
newer white floral I just can’t. It’s less available so following MN threads advice I have a bottle in reserve in a dark temp controlled cabinet. I still love it. It’s truly my signature smell

The late 80s were big on the heavy, headache-inducing perfumes, weren’t they?

A little went a long way 😂
But I also had Issy & Tommy during the day, they were much lighter and Issy disappeared very quickly.

Body shop white musk was pleasant and ubiquitous.

CK eternity was very much the mid 90s for me. I still like smelling it.

Tresor in 1990s for me

Le Jardin & Anaïs Anaïs (c&p'd your diaeresis😉) take me back to cars full of friends on nights out. The atmosphere in the car was a heady combo of hairspray, shower gel, perfume and whatever other scented cosmetics we'd used.😂We were probably a bit light headed by the time we arrived.

Elizabeth Arden Green tea was a late 90s fave. Did love a bit of CKone also. Not - I REPEAT NOT - a fan of the migrainetastic Poison, Opium etc…

Cool Water was a solid thumbs up on the menfolk 👍

Late 90s - ck1, red jeans, very Valentino, Gloria by cacharel

00s - Dior addict, Ralph Lauren glamorous, hypnotic poison, Hugo boss

10s - hypnotic poison

20s - ck1, hypnotic poison

Mid 80s - Insignia marketed for young lads. Body wash, deodorant, aftershave, cologne, the whole works. My teenage cousin would have the air shimmering around him because of the thick fug of product smell

I was a teen in the 00s so it was Britney Spears fantasy, J Lo glow and Hugo boss deep red

Sunflowers was my signature scent aged about 15 to 21 so 95 to 2001 so I agree with your there op. Dd2 has some and she wears it occasionally now, which I love for the nostalgia.

JLo Glow is SO sweet ,smells awful on me🤢

90s for me were Poison, Opium, Body Shop Dewberry, CK Escape and Amarige (which I still love)
