Ah 1974. The year I left primary school and had the summer before starting secondary. Wonderful times!

That was true for me, pretty much. I was 17 and on 28th August I would be battered by a police truncheon and loaded into a black maria at the Windsor Free Festival - topless. Not sure my parents ever fully recovered. Happy days.
