Remember this?

Of course! Seared on my memory until death.

Voting intention by broadcaster

Look how GB News is +very+ different to Sky, BBC and ITV

If it’s promoting conservative thought, it appears to be doing so at the expense of the Conservative Party?

Paul Marshall has got what he paid for then - news dedicated to a very particular viewpoint.

pointythings · 14/06/2024 07:38

If the thread on AIBU is anything to go by, they're back.on the trans thing. If posters there are to be believed, mobs of predatory men in dresses will leap out to steal all our rights the moment Labour get in.

Wow! I guess the surprise is that Reform didn't get higher!

All lined up for 3 am on July 5th.

I am so sick of the trans women will take over and send biological women back to the dark ages hyperbole.

Those posters do themselves no favours as they sneer at anyone who doesn't agree with them 100%. They alienate people who might have sympathy with some of their concerns.

Ah, I see.
No dissent allowed.
How on earth is it wrong to express valid concerns about women's rights?
Christ...
We've gone back decades in the progress made for women's rights
But yeah....it'll be FINE
Ffs

BIossomtoes · 14/06/2024 08:56

Other threads are available for that discussion @user8800. Lots of them.

DuncinToffee · 14/06/2024 09:03

I welcome different views, just don't change other people's words.

I'm fairly certain you're the one changing other people's words and so not allowing dissent.

I would never use the term Terf.

Changing a poster's words like that is really shitty behaviour.

IClaudine · 14/06/2024 09:20

How on earth is it wrong to express valid concerns about women's rights?

No one, including me, has ever said that.

Honestly @user8800 you are doing a good job here of illustrating what I meant.

I am going to shut up now and not derail the thread.

Morning all. See its time to leave already.

The loss of women's rights have occurred under the Tories, not Labour.

I never quite get why Labour are blamed for things they haven't done.

Starmer will protect public services as much as he can do, given the financial mess we are in & that in turn will help women.

Should the Tories get back in, we'll see a further roll back.

But as said, plenty of other threads to voice your concerns.
