Something interesting to do with sausages

No sniggering in the back now.

I usually do sausages and mash; two types of sausage stew (one with vegetables and passata and one with grapes, onions and balsamic vinegar) or sausage rolls.

But everyone in my family is bored with those options and I am a bit skint until payday so don't want to shove them in the freezer and buy something else.

So ideas gratefully received!!

Chop the sausages into chunks and fry til browned with chopped onion. Add garlic and smoked paprika and fry a bit longer. Add a tin of tomatoes and a handful of dry red lentils, and about a 1/2 pint of water. Simmer til lentils are cooked and serve with part-bake rolls.
