The Oscars tonight who else is watching?

ITV for the first time at 2230. I hope it’s a good one. I still miss Joan live on the red carpet☹️. I’m just watching Poor Thing then I think I’ve seen most of the nominations. I hope Oppenheimer doesn’t sweep the board. I liked it but I don’t like it when one film dominates.

I am watching as I love the Oscars. I think Oppenheimer will win a lot although I don’t think Cillian Murphy is a sure bet as Paul Giamatti has picked up awards recently. I think Best Actress will be a close call between Emma Stone and Lily Gladstone.

I know and I loved both of them in those parts. It’s a tough call

Jonathon Ross is getting on my nerves it’s so scripted

It would be great if there were a few upsets.

I’m not sure what time the ceremony starts but I’m hoping that they quit this show and just go over to the ceremony. This is dire and none of them seem film buffs. Didn’t Mark Kermode used to do it?

Sad that Margot Robbie has left her Barbie era - I was secretly hoping she would come as my favourite Peaches n Cream Barbie. Haven't seen any of the major films this year but there are several that look really strong and I'm hoping to catch up with them soon.

Has anyone got the subtitles on? They just put "now, Phil" instead of "now, feel"

I think the straps look ok, kind of “ dune “ like futuristic style padded , but the bottom half is awful , and if that was any of my friend or family I’d tell them it looked like a Y front pant shape

She might well have done if she was nominated as Barbie for Best Actress but she wasn’t unfortunately.
