I read along, but rarely post. The Jack Monroe thread is mind boggling - the Wiki is well worth reading.
There is one poster on the Meghan threads whose language actually sickened me and so I blocked her. It's a useful function.

I've been trying to understand this website for a long time.. I can't make sense of it. Seems to just be full on slating and negativity and ripping other women to shreds? Is anything nice ever said?

There’s far too much to explain! But she’s completely terrible.

You can look at her threads on Tattle without a code - there’s a pink button at the top called the ‘wiki’ and it has hours upon hours of reading and sources.

Have a look at the Slopalong threads as well, if you want to see how her ‘recipes’ turn out.

I never look at the threads about her but the picture I get is that she is a con-artist?

If you do read the Wiki about Jack Monroe be aware that the section about Sophie, a disabled kitten is distressing.

There's a rave section, that's why people will be told off/banned for arguing with people about someone, because they're supposed to start a rave thread and talk about all the stuff they like about the person there.

The Ioan Gruffudd threads have been eye opening but move at a ridiculous rate of knots and is frankly bonkers. Secret celebrity gossip is another one worth reading as is the old Hollywood gossip thread. I don't like the Mumsnet thread for how they are quite insulting to one of the S&B ladies from here, her appearance may not be what you like to wear but she's clearly confident in her own sense of style so leave her be.

I agree with the pp the code element of the site is simply to drum up noteriety, if they were really bothered about membership they'd make it a closed site.

Not that this site doesn't also have the same..but at least it's also balanced out with lots of support and positivity too!

There's a gender critical threat, which is obviously highly supportive of women.

Some threads are much better than others - like MN actually. It’s far better moderated than here.

At least the mods on here know a Tattle troll when they see one.

There was a time you couldn’t say anything negative about jack monroe on here, which is why a lot of people turned to Tattle.
