Anyone ordered a temporary pop up morgue before?

PinkPanther27 · 31/01/2024 11:15

I got an email notification from Royal Mail this morning advising me that my parcel from Nutwell Logistics is being delivered today between 10:58-12:58pm.
The company name wasn't familiar so I googled them and found this (attached).
Should I be worried?
Should I refuse delivery or treat it as a deluxe bed for my cat on those hot summer days?
Has anyone else had a delivery from Nutwell Logistics?

Anyone ordered a temporary pop up morgue before?

I really hope that this thread ends up in Mumsnet Classics. It's a Corker!

Penneyanna · 01/02/2024 12:42

Omg this is so funny. I too thought it was a typo but it's even better . Be sure and keep us posted OP

Where are you OP? Was the purchaser actually OP's DH, and OP is now... ahem... using the morgue Confused?

That is my concern too.

NightSprite · 01/02/2024 12:57

Makes a change from a new patio.

Intriguing. The postman's arrival is awaited with anticipation.

Yes, remember, OP, the postman always rings twice.

Waitingfordoggo · 01/02/2024 13:09

I need to know if the pop-up morgue arrived.

OP is busy trying to test whether it can handle 12 really hefty corpses of 190kg each, or only 12 tiny ones of under 16kg. Takes time.

CointreauVersial · 01/02/2024 13:21

Come on, OP.

We're.....DYING.....to know what arrived!

NightSprite · 01/02/2024 13:24

<wonders for far too long if OP might take nominations for some of those 12 spaces>

I looked up the company on companies house and some of the directors are also directors in other businesses - any chance you have ordered something from them? sometimes payments on my bank account dont tally with the company I purchased from but they have another legal company entity for payments or the such

  • XYLO interactive 62011 - Ready-made interactive leisure and entertainment software development
  • Logmat limited 74909 - Other professional, scientific and technical activities not elsewhere classified
  • Nitleg limited 32990 - Other manufacturing not elsewhere classified Other food services

Also had a nose on Companies House... turns out there is A LOT of money to be had from this industry!

anyway I’ve never ordered one, but I live next door to a permanent morgue so if I am in need of morgue space I just ask my neighbour. 😆

Very handy. Did you move there with that in mind? 😆

They moved in after me. It used to be a normal house and shop 🙈

SteriCare 👶 and Nutwell Medical ⛑ are brands owned by Nutwell Logistics. Our original business is the temporary mortuary, but don't worry, we won't be sending any to the general public! These systems are designed for use in emergencies to provide dignity and relieve pressures on first responders 🙌

We'll be changing our display name with couriers to avoid any future panic from our retail customers ✌

BlunderMifflin · 01/02/2024 14:10

Too funny 😆

Why don't you sell pop up morgues to the general public? Plenty of people could make use of them.
There's been many times in my life when a temporary mortuary would have been very useful.
I think you are missing a trick here - perhaps you should apply for The Apprentice and Dragons' Den to go into partnership and expand the business for the mass consumer.

Oooh, pop-up horse morgue. That really is niche. I wonder what comes up in the "Customers who bought pop-up horse morgue also purchased ..." if you buy them on Amazon.

😄😄

This thread is everything, especially because against all odds it's actually serious 😂

Blondeshavemorefun · 01/02/2024 15:13

Just wondering - asking for a friend like 😂

How much is a pop up mortuary @NutwellLogistics

CheersToMe · 01/02/2024 15:16

Too funny. If I'd seen this thread yesterday I would've answered that I was involved in organising temporary mortuaries during the Covid pandemic! I recognised Nutwell immediately!

12 lightweight, flexible body trays designed to hold up to 190kg

I need a portable pop-up mortuary expert to tell me whether this means it can handle 12 really hefty corpses of 190kg each, or only 12 tiny ones of under 16kg?

You never know when this information might prove crucial!

@NutwellLogistics can you answer this? 😀

Quite. You only need to have a trip through the relationship topic to realise the potential market. So much easier than a patio.

GoodOldEmmaNess · 01/02/2024 16:41

Well, if I ever need a pop-up temporary morgue I know exactly where I will be purchasing it from. @NutwellLogistics 's courteous and on-the-ball social media presence makes them the go-to corpse disposal amenity provider as far as I am concerned.
And I will be telling all my friends, too, especially the more murdery ones.

DiamondGazette · 01/02/2024 16:45

I too shall be recommending @NutwellLogistics to my serial killing friends.
