Anyone ordered a temporary pop up morgue before?

PinkPanther27 · 31/01/2024 11:15

I got an email notification from Royal Mail this morning advising me that my parcel from Nutwell Logistics is being delivered today between 10:58-12:58pm.
The company name wasn't familiar so I googled them and found this (attached).
Should I be worried?
Should I refuse delivery or treat it as a deluxe bed for my cat on those hot summer days?
Has anyone else had a delivery from Nutwell Logistics?

It’s not suspicious at all that you asked that.
I will do a search on your name and see if you have written anything about 12 hefty people or 12 tiny people that are getting on your nerves 🤔

I'm not sure I can think of 12 people who have annoyed me enough to warrant a 12 berth mortuary. I'll have to make a list 🤔

MaggieFS · 31/01/2024 12:34

Intriguing. The postman's arrival is awaited with anticipation.

Ha ha, are you expecting a parcel? Is it one of those scam emails that you shouldn’t click on?

anyway I’ve never ordered one, but I live next door to a permanent morgue so if I am in need of morgue space I just ask my neighbour. 😆

🤣🤣🤣

Acatdance · 31/01/2024 12:42

Are you planning an extremely gothic wedding reception, OP? Bodies in the marquee would add that perfect final touch.

Radiatorvalves · 31/01/2024 12:42

DH who works at a big hospital ordered a number of these during Covid. Sadly they were needed. No idea which company he used.

It is quite funny being sent one you haven't ordered but the fact that it is actually needed somewhere is tragic.

I'm just here for the parcel 📦

MaggieFS · 31/01/2024 12:49

I haven't looked them up, but are morgues the only thing they sell?

Phone them to ask 😂

MadeForThis · 31/01/2024 12:52

Take it camping, or to a festival.

BrieAndChilli · 31/01/2024 12:53

I looked up the company on companies house and some of the directors are also directors in other businesses - any chance you have ordered something from them? sometimes payments on my bank account dont tally with the company I purchased from but they have another legal company entity for payments or the such

Very handy. Did you move there with that in mind? 😆

Riapia · 31/01/2024 12:59

Hope it doesn’t arrive complete with occupants.
😉😁😁

UtterlyUnimaginativeUsername · 31/01/2024 13:05

Did it arrive?

Sunshinesky1981 · 31/01/2024 13:48

Imagining the IT Person at Nutwell logistics sat scratching his head as internet search and website hits have jumped up 10000000% in less than 2 hours :)

Blondeshavemorefun · 31/01/2024 13:50

It's an hour past delivery

Did it arrive

Are you Alive @PinkPanther27

Turfwars · 31/01/2024 14:01

You are now on a watch list somewhere OP.

ChardonnaysBeastlyCat · 31/01/2024 14:30

How big is that thing anyway?

A mobile morgue delivery in the front garden of your ordinary suburban semi is going to get the neighbours talking for years. NextDoor will be abuzz with messages and God help whoever is running the local FB pages.

StasisMom · 31/01/2024 14:45

Have you been googling duct tape and saws?

Ariela · 31/01/2024 16:05

No idea, but last year I did order a largeish tarpaulin for a horse show - to be used in case of equine fatality, or used as a screen to shield from viewers.

DoggusDomesticus · 31/01/2024 16:33

Im hoping the reason OP hasn't been back is because her shipment has arrived and she's busy setting it up on the back lawn.

This would be a great way to quieten down problem neighbours without a potentially awkward face to face confrontation!

Oooh, pop-up horse morgue. That really is niche. I wonder what comes up in the "Customers who bought pop-up horse morgue also purchased ..." if you buy them on Amazon.

WhateverTrevorrr · 31/01/2024 19:42

I fink u av 2 post dis on ur facebook an send 2 10 of ur fb friends an u shud b ok hun xxx

Hatty65 · 31/01/2024 19:43

This is fabulous. I'm genuinely tempted to order one, just to put the wind up DH...

ihatevinted · 01/02/2024 12:11

Where are you OP? Was the purchaser actually OP's DH, and OP is now... ahem... using the morgue Confused?
