Tesco- no delivery

Assuming Tesco has gone down,
Delivery was due between 9 and 10am this morning - not arrived.

Website and app seem to be up and running
No notifications or explanation as to why my order has not been delivered

Anyone else had any problems with their orders this morning?

I was hoping to batten down the hatches for the storm today not venture out for provisions .
Oh well

I've booked a slot for Tuesday in the event of a no show delivery

My DH went out for essentials too, after our delivery was cancelled half an hour before it was due. We hadn't had a receipt at all, just the cancellation notice then another email saying we could do another order & add it all to the basket. No £10 voucher.

Waitrose got our money instead of Tesco today. I'm on the south coast, so it looks like the problem affected the whole country.

I’ve recently tried Ocado and my bill is the same but I get what I order. No substitutes at all in my first 3 orders. I’m really impressed. Ocado own brand with a few M&S treats comes to the same as Asda. They also give you bags (which you return to the driver the next delivery) which make it so much easier to bring stuff into the house.

Hertfordshire here, no delivery for a 5pm order and no text (until 16:59) or call to notify us.
It was just fortunate that I checked my email for the receipt at 3pm and was able to dash to the store and get the essentials.
I can also not just do a repeat last order as the one showing is last weeks'
Total shambles, will try and call tomorrow to see if I can get a voucher and to tell them how disappointed I am.

What annoys me when they cancel is what about those who have no money to go out and buy the groceries or order from elsewhere, if the money takes 3-5'days to go back in their banks.

I've given up with Tesco deliveries. I used them for years but some months ago deliveries moved from a local depot to one much further away. Since then they were initially very late each time and more recently just do not have delivery slots. Over Christmas and New Year there was nothing at all and now you need to book at least 10 days ahead.
They will not allow me to cancel my delivery saver even though they are not providing the service I paid for.

I've not experienced anything like that and am usually happy with Tesco
I've accepted it's just one of those things this time round

Yup my 4-5pm delivery slot didn't turn up. I'm pretty livid that the system was working enough to take payment, and hold onto it for possibly 5 days so Tesco can fuck off and I won't use them again. That's an utter piss take.

It's note ten hours since I contacted them on WhatsApp and messenger and still no reply.
I'm not happy!

I finally got an email at 8.40 this morning (so nearly 24hrs later!) to say my order was cancelled and they will refund me. It is still showing as 'preparing order' on the app though!

@VanLife33 Well the refund will take 3-5 days and I very much doubt I'll see a voucher! Oh well, let's see if the delivery tomorrow turns up!

Let's hope they arrive this time!

I didn't push for the voucher, they just sent an apology email and offered it up.

Maybe you will get yours soon seeing as they were late to cancel your order and refund, maybe late in offering the voucher too ?
