Tesco- no delivery

Assuming Tesco has gone down,
Delivery was due between 9 and 10am this morning - not arrived.

Website and app seem to be up and running
No notifications or explanation as to why my order has not been delivered

Anyone else had any problems with their orders this morning?

just spoken to them.
All online orders across the country for this morning, both delivery and click and collect have had to be cancelled.

system gone down and although order picked and charged for they had no way of printing labels to differentiate customers orders.

recorded message says cancelled and you will receive email notification. I hadn't so carried in to speak to someone and was told sheer volume was delaying things. I complained there should have been a notification in the web or app and they agreed.

Got a shopping voucher as compensation. I had to push for it though.

My surname begins with I and they are working through everyone to let customers know

Ah I was wondering why I hadn't been charged or had my email yet! Booked for 4-5pm delivery as per usual and I'm normally charged at 11am....worried now.

I had a delivery booked for 5-6pm. Just had an email to say cancelled. No reason given. It's never happened before. On Twitter it says it's a common problem today.

I don't have social media so hadn't seen anything about it .. nothing on news etc.
Asking here has helped to see what's going on thank you

Mine was due between 10 and 11. Already had receipt. When I called there was a recorded message saying they were having problems, some deliveries were cancelled and we should have received an email. DH has just this moment (while I was writing this message) forwarded a text message saying it's not coming and they will refund us. I'd held off getting in the shower in case it turned up but now I can go in!

I saw on FB some people had their orders cancelled with no reason. It seems that they are having major issues

Even though I know it won't come today I still have a slither of hope every time I check and it still says preparing order lol

I have tried to call and getting no where.
Mine was supposed to arrive between 11 and 12!
Apparently Tesco have cancelled orders Nationwide with no explanation. I haven't had mine cancelled because i have heard nothing from them at all.

Loads of people locally are having issues. The big Tesco has been closed quite a lot since the heavy rain in November, because the car park floods too. They must have lost millions, especially over Christmas. Staff were told to go to a different store, but that’s not always possible.

My order was cancelled by them an hour after the expected delivery slot ended today. Refund issued. Pain in the backside. System issues apparently. I’m in Scotland so must be UK wide.

This happened with me once and they just said they would reattempt delivery. They turned up the day after in a staff members own van as they had no delivery drivers to work.

As a pp is also having issues today, I'm going to assume it's a more wide spread issue and not just me.

You’ve been told many times in the thread it’s a widespread issue with the online shopping side of Tesco today - there’s no need to assume anything 😅

Had one booked for today 8-9am, got an email at 7:15am to say it had been cancelled because of an issue with their system.

It's the bank you need to check. They take payment after picking so if the money isn't taken it isn't picked

@Deathbyfluffy haha very true! I think when I said that only one or two pp had agreed they were also having issues!
At this point I can be certain there is a wide spread issue 😂

Slot booked for between 3 and 4, no receipt yet which is unusual and states preparing. I assume I'll be cancelled, but honestly not even having a blanket notice on their app 'all orders cancelled' or something is very poor customer service.

Just checked mine, delivery booked for 4-5pm. I got a receipt email at 1133am and the app says the driver is 9 stops away, so looks like I might be ok. I have to leave for work at 0630 tomorrow and I’m probably working away for a couple of weeks now so would be pretty hard to rearrange.

Hope those of you who have had snap cancellations manage to get some shopping in one way or another!

Just checked mine and it says driver on the road and 13 stops away so fingers crossed!
