I don’t agree. I think her expressions are quite animated.

Can't stand her. I have no idea why someone with such great intelligence and (previously) good looks, would want to turn herself into Jessica Rabbit 🙄

I think she’s great but I do wonder this a little bit, I have to admit.

Only because the more informed about the world I am, the more I see “looking sexy” as a massive scam that only benefits men.

I don't think a woman's looks are relevant to her words. It doesn't work like that for men in the main and we, as women, should be listening to what other women say instead of judging them on their appearance. It's one of the ways misogyny perpetuates.

I’m not judging harshly , just wondering as a fellow woman.

I also wonder why some women in politics choose very severe fringes. I still think they’re brilliant!

But we don't know what her real looks are. The judgment is for rejecting her own beautiful, (ageing) face and giving in to what society (men) define as attractive, going to a lot of trouble (every surgery carries risk) and spending a lot of money.

Someone who has that much plastic surgery shows her thoughts and focus: on herself, her looks and creating a "sexy bod" through surgery. So I can't really listen dispassionately to her, I find the disfigurements too distracting when I watch her.

I'm sure her radio voice is better

Fascinating how this thread seems to be all about her looks. I find them a bit baffling too. But who cares, if she keeps speaking out with the righteous anger so few public figure figures are prepared to express.

Two things can be true. We are glad and appreciative she's speaking up, we are baffled by her choice for so much plastic surgery.

Young girls are watching and it's becoming the norm to inject things to your body for appearance/ to go under the knife. Attractive and beautiful are becoming less and less natural I.e unachievable. It's big. Let's talk about it!

I wonder where she gets her energy - or why she's so bothered about looking young and perky, but probably being in the media does that to you.

I think she is intelligent and interesting . No idea why she’s feels the need to look as she does , 100% wish women would be confident enough to just age naturally .

Carol Voderman was one of the first nerdy females on tv, when it wasn’t cool to be nerdy. So it feels a shame if she has gone down the plastic surgery route. Ie. Rejecting the previous brains not beauty ethos.

Every one here having a pop at her will get their comeuppance one day. Sisters should support each other. She is also entitled to live her life how she wants.

The problem with all that work, Botox, fillers, etc is that you can’t actually see the real person. It’s like you see an anime cartoon version of them. So, basically, their personality is suppressed or wiped out. I find it disconcerting when I see people in the media and in real life with this work, because I cannot read or see them properly. You cannot tell whether they are happy, sad, lying or telling the truth. Their personality expression is limited. It’s not just a question of wrinkles. It’s the whole movement and expression of the face that is affected.

Agree with this completely. It weirds me out.
She looks great on photos but when you see her talking/ smiling/ reacting it's another story.

That said, I haven’t got anything against her, but I would hardly say a hero. What has she actually done?

She's brilliant. Stop focusing on her looks ffs! Read an early 00s edition of Heat magazine if that's what you're interested in.
