She's great.

Yes, absolutely. I have to admit l've been a bit 'meh' about her in the past, but l've done a complete about turn, and l have huge respect for her for standing up for ordinary people, and calling out political nonsense.

It's a shame politicians don't have her integrity and common sense.

I am also impressed with Catherine Ryan about being against dangerous politicians on 'I'm a celebrity'. I wish she outted RB earlier!

I think she’s doing at great job of shining a light on some of the the really corrupt dodgy cover ups that very few journalists seems to bother to question.

I liked her in her 'maths days' but she'd been irritating me for a while on social media as she seemed a bit drunk on the attention, but I heard her radio show recently and she came across as genuinely compassionate (and fiercely intelligent) and just seems to wants to use her voice for the greater good.

Always been a fan of hers as I have loved countdown since I was a kid and share her passion for flying.

Wish she'd lay off the plastic surgery though she's a beautiful women and really doesn't need it.

Talking about intelligence, it’s difficult to measure l know, but considering the sexist accuser thought it was a smart idea to be in a party photo during lockdown, imposed by the Government because people were dying, maybe he should question his own.

The fact she's good at maths helps her dismantle the Government's regular misuse of statistics - and she has a platform to speak truth to power.

She is great.

She speaks her mind, is not scared by the hate she gets from some people for challenging this vile government and exposing their corruption.

I think so many men have an issue with an older woman having a strong voice, being smart, visible and looking good!

It is quite glorious to see how much she annoys them.

They don't have any intelligent, rational argument to challenge her and instead are reduced to nasty little comments about her appearance.

Exactly. When things in the country are so corrupt that the journalists are either mates with, equally corrupt as or under the thumb of those that they should be exposed by, we need someone else to find out what’s going on.

The stuff about Ruth Perry’s suicide due to the Ofsted inspection was completely swept under the carpet by the ‘establishment’ with the head of Ofsted saying the inspection system was perfectly fine and teachers were just using it to try to discredit, even the week before the inquiry concluded her death was caused by the inspection. The coroner herself at the inquest commented how Ofsted had bought 7 of their own lawyers (not sure who paid for them?) yet Ruth Perry’s family found out the week before the inquest that they didn’t qualify for legal aid. Luckily a last minute crowdfunder raised the £50k+ needed to pay for a lawyer. I’m sure Amanda Spielman was counting on the case never even going ahead so that things could carry on as before. Ofsted lied repeatedly at the inquest but seemingly that is now just fine to do (as long as you are not an ordinary person.)

For anyone interested in how women are demonised beyond the age of 40 (we lose the 3 Fs apparently - femininity, fuckability and fertility) I highly recommend the book “Hags” by Victoria Smith.

I think she's doing a great job holding the govt to account - well making her views known.

Everyone doesn't know that. I wish we did-but we don't. And yes-she was friends with Michelle Mone-and stopped being friends when the appalling stuff emerged.

Yes, she is brilliant. So admire her especially as she has to know the likes of the Daily Mail will be looking for every opportunity to discredit her. Yet she keeps on speaking out and using FACTS to expose the corruption.

As for that stupid politician ~ yes, sure if you can’t deny the facts, let’s focus on a woman’s appearance why don’t you. Tale as old as time.

I gained a lot of respect for her during COVID lockdowns. She made all of her Maths resources available free of charge for DC.

I've just watched her on Have I Got News for You and was looking for a thread on her.
To be honest I was freaked by how you are not able to see any emotion or read an expression on her face. Her voice also felt like it didn't belong her motionless face. Judgemental me struggles to put together a very smart person + someone who has had so much cosmetic surgery.
