Carol is a 63 year old woman who has been through multiple surgeries to make herself look like a caricature of the stereoptyocal younger sexy woman, as seen by some teenage boy.

if any man had done the same thing, then yeah we’d be talking about it.

Whatever is going on in that woman’s head, to go through such surgery ,having herself cut open , plastic and silicone added, Botox and fillers, at 63 years old, then talking about her sex life and how many men she’s shagging, is something we would find distasteful in a man and quite frankly for me signposts to something very wrong.

is she a hero. To me no. Am I loving her. No, not at all.i just find it sad. As sad as I would if a man felt compelled to do this and then tell us about his sex life and dress In overly sexualised clothing. At any age.

Judgy! Carol is a 63 year old woman who has earned money using her brain and decided how she would like to spend it. You may not like it, but you may not like the skirt, top l have on or my nose piercing either. To talk about overly sexualised clothing (your words) is misogynistic and sexist. I’ve also had quite a number of bed partners and proud of it. It has harmed nobody.

She is not a man, so any comparison with a male is hypothetical to say the least. But any 63 year old male with multiple lovers (I’m in my 40s and still use “olde language”) would be looked up to by his mates l suspect.

ls she a hero? In my view yes, because she is showing our daughters what older women can do as well as being a political champion.

Should women criticise others? For some actions perhaps. For living life as they choose with no harm to others? Definitely not.

Oh give over. She’s not just telling her mates, she’s giving interviews talking about how many men she’s sleeping with at the same time. Now fair play on that score, but don’t for one moment think anyone will believe that if a man has severe plastic surgery to make himself look like some sort of overly sexualised Ken bloke, dressed in tight revealing clothes and goes on tv to tell folks he’s shagging 7 women at once, folks wouldn’t feel it distasteful.

I will! I won’t subscribe to the all women should be “naice girls” theory. Comparison with a man is unrealistic. And politically she is brilliant.

I hadn’t heard about this (talking on tv about how many men she has) , my first thought was I wonder what happened for that to be what she needs - the amount of validation from men and the validation from telling people about it)

I don’t know anything about her past or personal life. I see her talking about politics and being brilliant, I also see her on quiz shows making sure every move is sexy for the men.

She goes with the money. Its not that long ago she was Cameron's tame maths buff. I've no doubt she will have a place somewhere in the Labour Government.

Love her so much! Her opinions on politics are well reasoned and justified. She’s presents complex issues well to the normal person. I like her. Wish she’d run as an MP. Her background is also very working class.

She looks very plastic, sadly and getting worse. It makes her look older. However, i like her as a "commentator". She's extremely clever.

I admire her for speaking out about this goverment when she knows it will attract all the nasty misogyny. Good for her! She one brave woman.

I don’t think she needs to be naice either, not remotely and no one said that. But this is 2024 we want equality so yeah. We can compare to men. Not just when it suits us and we benefit. Bottom line is if a man behaved like she does, it would undermine his message, just as it is with carol.

Have I strayed into the Hall of Righteous Women by mistake? It's her body, she can do what she likes with it. She can sleep with whomsoever she chooses, likewise, concurrently or consecutively. And she can, and does, express her political views. Frankly, if our current batch of politicians were a bit more restrained in their behaviour, she wouldn't have a lot to say. Having elected such self-serving, grasping, greedy carpetbaggers and kept them in power for so long, it's a relief to know that someone else recognises what they are.

I have no idea whether she is paid or by whom. But why does it matter? She is doing good work. Why shouldn't she be paid for it?

She is paid for her tv work like anyone but not for her twitter opinions. You are no doubt paid for your work but not for sitting on here . Same thing.
