It's the season of advent for the Playmobil people in our house...

... and so each day up until Christmas I will be bringing you a small scene from Playmoland. A kind of Playmobil advent calendar, with just a simple picture each day.

What's behind the door today?

We received a free figure with our Playmobil Crèche set (A hippie Barbequer) and he joins the adoration every year.

Well the last thing you want to do after having a baby is cook so he keeps the campfire going. Oxon a bit nervous of him though.

Haha, our nativity has a cooking pot over a fire. When ds rearranges the scene we often have Baby Jesus in the cooking pot...

Goodness, the white brick steps is exactly how we we used to draw biblical houses in primary school - a square house with those steps going up an outside wall, for some reason. I'm transported back 60 years!

Thank you all! When I set up my nativity I'll take a photo. I think my set is an older one than yours @DingDongMerrilyWithPie with just a cardboard stable. And no BBQ man (although I do have a BBQ man somewhere, so could always put him in charge of the cooking pot, or maybe the kebab man instead...)

I love these threads. My favourite was the boat parade for a jubilee some time ago. I was really impressed with the number of boats you could muster...

I really want to do something similar with lego... but it will have to wait until the children leave home.
