The bin one did my head in and Krampus

Matildalamp · 16/11/2023 23:06

I would never have got the lion one without using Waterstones search.

Otterseatpuffinsdontthey · 16/11/2023 23:13

Any more clues for:
Bin
Revision Guides

Revision Guide
Kurara
Krampus

EineReiseDurchDieZeit · 16/11/2023 23:17

Any more clues for:
Bin
Revision Guides
Romance

Bin - it's full title is a blank paper bin and in it isn't air or sea but blank
Revision guides not classes in biology or lectures on physics
Romance - the opposite of hate in monochrome

MadeOfAllWork · 16/11/2023 23:15

Still no idea on
Bin,
Revision Guide
Kurara
Krampus

Bin - is a poem more than a book
Revison guide - think of a science subject taught at school, not physics but …
Kurara - google Japanese authors and their books
Krampus - 2 words, book 1 = first word. Books 2 and 3 synonyms come together to make the second word.

@Rollonsummer24 the Morris dancer is a citizen of a particular country, think nation of the United Kingdom. And he is being tended to by a member of the medical profession, which makes him a ?

SpecialSpaghetti · 17/11/2023 07:48

Wow we have some super clever MNs here!
Thanks to all your clues and a little help from DSis I managed to get 18. Then my brain froze, and I couldn't for the life of me see the last two but then inspiration struck in the small wee hours 😅

SummerLightning · 17/11/2023 07:53

@Rollonsummer24 Morris dancers is not a new book. It was made into a movie that was very well received and I would say it is as well known for being a film now.

leahwithherbooks · 17/11/2023 08:09

I am so CONFUSED with the door! Its the last one i have and i do not get the clues. Everyone just says its not ice and i don't understand.

bigdecisionstomake · 17/11/2023 08:10

@leahwithherbooks what is ice before it freezes?

InMySpareTime · 17/11/2023 08:25

You're cold with the ice, try getting a bit warmer

OP posts:
Pushkinini · 17/11/2023 08:28

I cannot get the rabbit/monkey fighting children one and am completely stumped on mythology even though I know the country.

InMySpareTime · 17/11/2023 08:32

What would a toddler call a rabbit?

Mythology - That's where I got stuck - it is much more geographically precise than a country.
Helen is probably the most famous example.
Fighting animals Don't think Peter rabbit think Benjamin ___

Otterseatpuffinsdontthey · 17/11/2023 09:19

@leahwithherbooks .
The door is not closed, it is ?.
What is ice after it melts?.

I'm still stuck with:
Bin
Revision
Romance

SummerLightning · 17/11/2023 09:30

@Otterseatpuffinsdontthey the revision one is a big book of the year. (or last year?) It's everywhere!

ElleLeopine · 17/11/2023 09:35

@Otterseatpuffinsdontthey

For the revision one, what subject do the books on the table represent? And before you get to the revision stage, you have what on a subject?

Pushkinini · 17/11/2023 09:54

Thanks @Girlontherailreplacementbusservice

I'd managed to get the rabbit/monkey one on my own, but your hunt helped me to the mythology one.

Three to go now

Natural History
Krampus
And the Bin one

Rollonsummer24 · 17/11/2023 09:58

Thank you for the clues, I’ve never heard of some of them!!

Pushkinini · 17/11/2023 10:00

Finally got Krampus. Never heard of it though. It's literally part of what Krampus is plus two synonyms for the other two books.
