I wish I knew this before I signed up.

I signed up for Gohenry to allow my child to use a card that belongs to them and has a certain limit of money.

I signed up to Gohenry, completed the application, so far so good.

We received the card but it was the incorrect design. Just spoke to customer service via chat who advised me of how to order a new card. All fine.
However, upon trying to do so, it is asking me for my child's gender. The options are: female, male and non-binary. Confused, I choose not to add one but it doesn't allow me to continue. After speaking to customer service I was informed that I have to select a gender in order to continue.
My child is 6.

Does anyone know of any companies that have a similar service but also know the difference between sex and gender and don't enforce genders upon preschoolers?

Im guessing OP is saying they dont want to buy into the mad woke BS of having to chose a gender. Even by chosing M / F you are buying into it and playing along. It is dangerous and something i dont want any part of either, for me or my child.

So would you be happier if they didn't ask, and just referred to your child as they?

What did we do before we started with this nonsense?

I'm sure they can use her name. If its necessary to use a term then they could try not conflicting sex and gender.

Hyperjar is free to use. The jars are great for helping children and adults of both sexes budget. I don't recall being asked for gender when we signed up.

There are loads of helpful options in the app that dont exist in the very expensive GoHenry. I really rate it.

Thanks a lot for the suggestion 🙂

Exactly.
It must be good to be so unaffected by the recent wokery.
It's little things like this that add to the movement this endangering women.

"Maybe to you, Andrew. Personally, men are a risk to women's lives and this is a prominent issue to me.

What? On a banking app for a child? I'm more concerned about the current state of Palestine than my sons banking app.

Go and give your head a wobble.

A banking app is more likely to ask for your gender so they can run security checks on your credit back ground and lower the risk of fraud.

Please explain this because it makes no sense whatsoever.

Unless you're saying if you're willing to lie about biology, you could be dishonest about financial matters too, but that's probably discrimination on a protected characteristic, which is illegal as we know because they have to charge young women the same amount for car insurance as young men, despite there being a huge difference in risk.

For a 6yo yeah?

And as we know anyone can identify as any gender, there's about 107 now. Where does gender appear on credit files?

Sorry that you cannot understand how one action impacts something else.

Is it women starting the wars or killing people?
