Toastie filling ideas

Hi All,

As the title suggests, I'm looking for some toastie filling ideas. Currently on a tight budget and need some ideas as to what I can put inside my toastie maker aside from the classic cheese and beans combo.

TIA x

Cheese and jalapeño, sliced tomatoes, sriracha sauce, and/or refried beans.
The above are best if you use tortillas instead of bread and serve with a side of guacamole, salsa, and/or greek yoghurt, sour cream or creme fraiche.

Some great combinations here my contribution is to look at the CRIMPIT.
I’ve bought the new wrap one and all these fillings would go well in it.

We’ve done honey banana for breakfast. If you’re on a budget it obviously costs to buy one but I am finding I am putting good use to that random odd leftover wrap. Kids love a pizzas style one.

Ham, cheese and pickle? (As in sandwich pickle such as Branstons, not those awful green ones)

Leftover chilli
Mincemeat - like in mince pies.

Ooh a leftover chilli toastie - I fancy that, and maybe dipped in a little sour cream to cool it down a bit!

No, just chop it up a bit. Doesn't even need to be chopped up that small. It cooks in the steam.

That was supposed to be a reply to @TastesLikeStrawberriesOnASummerEvening

Sorry!

My machine was on the counter the other night and I threw a wrap and the left over chilli and rice into it, it turned out remarkably well Grin

Cheese and ham (or bacon) is another favourite... May have to dig the machine out, I'm getting hungry, lol.
