Chin Hairs FFS

Why do these pesky hairs seem to hide in plain sight!

Had a scour of my chin before I went away and now i'm here they all seem to have sprouted out of nowhere. Bright mirror lights are showing all of them up!!

Tried to get them out (forgot my tweezers) and they spring back on themselves like christmas ribbon you've scissored. Aaarrgghhh

No one tells you about this stuff!

I just sharpen my own tweezers @ithinkicanithinkican with an emery board nail file, just rub the edge up and down a few times, no skill required, and they're as good as new.

I'm relieved to know that I'm far from the only one. I have tweezers on my desk and tweezers next too my lounge chair, and I'm constantly checking for those little b's.

My eyebrows have always been sparse, though passable with a tint and a little pencil fill-in. If my body suddenly has what it needs to sprout all these friggin' chin hairs, and mutant ones an inch down from my hairline, then why the hell can't it finally give me the benefit of decent brows?

Has anyone tried putting a testosterone cream on their brows, and if so, did it work?

Ladies, I see your chin hairs (I have them too), and raise you toe bristles!
Where the hell do they come from?
Fair enough, sagging this, that and the everything bloody else, plus all of the descending hairlines - pubes on the insides of my thighs a good four inches below where they should be, and even then at least two inches below my sagging arse....
But seriously? I know well enough to shave my feet and toes when they're going to be on display, as otherwise they will glint not alluringly in the sun because they're so long, but these fuckers are like tree trunks and are also welded into my skin.
Oh, and don't get me even started on the white eyebrow hairs and eyelashes.
If this is the joy I get from being a 'mature woman' it can fuck right off....

@bpirockin, re-reading your post, I remembered I had the joy of what I thought was a loose hair on my shoulder, at the side of my neck. When I got hold of it, it was firmly attached to said area and was a good five inches long. I died a little bit inside at the thought of how long it had been there..... but it hasn't re-grown.

Oh @vipersnest1 I feel your pain. That random hair on my forehead was over an inch long before I saw it - how does that even happen when your tweezers are in use daily? My hand often aches from all the tweezing, imagine how bad it would be if I had one of those 10 x magnification mirrors!

I was just reading another post on not knowing "the secret", which with naturally wavy/curly/wild hair I can relate to very well. I'm torn between making a last ditch effort to spruce myself up and going full-on bearded batty old-lady.

@bpirockin, I use a 40x magnifying mirror plus glasses as my near vision is so rubbish now.
I sometimes avoid looking as it scares me!

@vipersnest1 Oh gosh, 40x I'd be terrified. It's bad enough when I've momentarily fooled myself into thinking that I didn't look so bad for my age, and then put my glasses on. Maybe that's nature's way of being kind to us in the delightful process of ageing 👵
