@ShinyAppleDreamingOfTheSea think of the crossword bit as 5 rows of Wordle guesses - once that’s filled in you’ll have some yellow letters and maybe some green ones. If a letter is green then it’s in the right column, if it’s yellow it’s in the wrong one. There’s a few posts with helpful hints a little bit further up the thread. Welcome!

Happy with that! Really enjoyed it today. Think others will get it much quicker as I wrote the PW and tried a few things but it seems obvious once done!

I went with the wrong guesscfor 1A again.

I keep messing it up by expecting it to only need the gaps filling (as on the NYT one) so typing over existing letters and having to start again !

@ShinyAppleDreamingOfTheSea There's an option in the settings that allows this. But I found it very unreliable and it wasn't easy to do before the clock started.
