Has anyone tried those natural deodorants (Wild, Fussy etc)

If so, how do you rate them?

I used to love Aromacreme from Lush many years ago, and never found anything like it until recently. I tried a couple from the Natural Deodorant Co but was a little bit smelly by the end of the day. I've just received some samples from Wild, and they smell amazing but can't vouch for the effectiveness yet. Interested to hear others' experiences and if there are any that come particularly recommended?

I've just ordered one from Fussy that is arriving today so I'll report back! A colleague recommended them and had a code so I gave it a go - I think it came to £10 for the case and one refill.

I switched to wild a few months back, having previously been an anti perspirant spray person. I found it odd feeling the damp sensation under my arms initially, but can honestly say I don’t (think I!!) smell. I find it smells pleasant and is a lot gentler than the spray was, much less itchy.

that said, we’ve not had any really hot weather to test it yet!!

I tried wild, smelt lovely at the start of the day, not so much by the end! I've gone back to normal deodorant 😢

I have started using wild and find it works well. It also lasts ages.

Sunshineboo · 01/08/2023 14:18

i have used wild for a while now and find that some of them have made me smell worse. For me, the sea salt one is the one that works, the other smell is not so.

It's the best deodorant I've ever used but only in that scent. I think other people get on better with other scents so i would recommend trying a few I'm not being steered by what you think you're going to like if you see what I mean

IFeelSoSoSad · 01/08/2023 14:34

Wild left me with a smell worse than BO.

lenalove · 01/08/2023 15:02

I used Wild for a bit but the packaging is so so messy, it squishes out everywhere when you close the lid. I now use the pink one by Megababe and it lasts much longer and smells better imo.

mumsworkneverstops · 01/08/2023 15:11

I tried wild. I wanted to love it. But it left marks on my white tops every time 😞

TonTonMacoute · 01/08/2023 16:03

I’ve been using fussy for nearly a year and it’s been great. Refills last about 3 or 4 months, it works and smells nice, and you can get them in Tesco now.

PriamFarrl · 01/08/2023 16:04

I like Fussy. It’s made without palm oil, which Wild isn’t.

PurpleFar · 01/08/2023 16:10

I've been using Wild since January. It took a while for my body to get used to deodorant after using antiperspirant for years, but I really like it! I have found different scents work better for me (some make me sweat more), but I'll be sticking with them. The case can get a bit mucky, but all it needs is a quick wipe now and then

RoseMartha · 01/08/2023 16:18

This sounds odd but I use Wild in the winter and a spray deodorant in the summer. Tbh Wild is a bit out my budget and i have to wait for it to be on offer.

Bunnyannesummers · 01/08/2023 16:19

Wild did not hold up for me in the very hot weather! Gone back to mitchum

lostinfusion · 01/08/2023 16:31

yes, I use fussy & so far so good. The sage flavoured one is my favourite

GiveMyHeadPeaceffs · 01/08/2023 17:25

I've used both Wild and also Kopari. I love the scents that Wild have but it's quite soft and leaves white marks on my tops which really pisses me off.

I really rate Kopari, the scents are light and quite neutral, it lasts ages and I found it worked really well as a deodorant (I do a lot of exercise and it stops the smell).

DailyMaui · 01/08/2023 17:33

Fussy is great. I have never had any issues smelling of sweat or BO when using it. I really like the applicator and refill system too. I'm a perfume lover so I don't want anything that will fight with my favourite perfumes so I appreciate the subtle scent of Fussy as well.

PerspiringElizabeth · 01/08/2023 17:43

Yes I was just thinking this morning that I’m surprising pleased with my Wild. I’m a sweaty Betty (hence the username) and Wild has been brill so far! Smells amazing and the smell lasts which is nice. I have 2 as I lost one then found it.

cryinglaughing · 01/08/2023 17:46

I have been using Fussy for a couple of years now.
Really rate it. I can still smell it at the end of the day.

OakleyStreetisnotinChelsea · 01/08/2023 17:48

Awake Organics Moon Goo is amazing. Expensive but lasts forever.

wineandsunshine · 01/08/2023 17:54

I've used Wild for over a year now. It did take me a while to get used to it but really love it now.

My ONLY issue is that when the refill case gets to the top and you take it out, there is always some left behind (almost like you can't twist it up far enough). Anyway, I take out the refill and use it without the case at that point!

Sunnysidegold · 01/08/2023 18:22

I've been using wild for about a year and it has massively helped the condition of my armpit skin which was badly affected by a rotten acne condition. I noticed when I switched back to mitchum the spots came back.

I don't really rate it as a deodorant though, as I do notice the odd whiff which I wouldn't have had previously.

Might give some of the others mentioned a go now!

cinzanoandcoke · 01/08/2023 18:24

Love wild during the summer when wearing vest tops. It doesn't seem to work well when wearing clothes next to underarms, and leaves marks.

AndAllOurYesterdays · 01/08/2023 18:27

I like Wild- find it as effective as the Dove I used to use - but it is more expensive and a load gets left behind in the case every time. I remove it and try and use it anyway but it's messy and awkward

3dogsandarabbit · 01/08/2023 18:36

I use Wild, have used it for quite a few years and find it works really well.

mobear · 01/08/2023 18:43

I use nuud. It’s amazing. I can’t remember the last time I smelt any BO.
