Has anyone tried those natural deodorants (Wild, Fussy etc)

If so, how do you rate them?

I used to love Aromacreme from Lush many years ago, and never found anything like it until recently. I tried a couple from the Natural Deodorant Co but was a little bit smelly by the end of the day. I've just received some samples from Wild, and they smell amazing but can't vouch for the effectiveness yet. Interested to hear others' experiences and if there are any that come particularly recommended?

I use Natural Deodorant Company and it works well for me, even on the hottest days. Also love the glass jar/metal lid combination for the ability to recycle. Customer service is really good too, the one time I had an issue with a jar they sorted it really quickly.

The best for me is tropics. Wild didn't really work

My friend had one on holiday. I confess to using it on our last day, as my spray had run out! Blush
Anyway, it was called Humble and it was amazing, even in the Greek heat.

I've been using wild for a couple of years, but found the sandalwood and patchouli scent was the only really effective one for me that I actually liked the smell of. Unfortunately they've now discontinued it, so I'm going to have to find a new brand.

Diddykong · 01/08/2023 21:48

Do any of them stop you sweating or are they just stopping the smell?

I'm not sure I could go to work with wet patches from sweating on the tube

StarchySturgess1 · 01/08/2023 21:50

I use Nuud. Unbeatable.

Wild has given mine and DHs clothes a wierd smell. I'm on the look out for another one so will try one of the ones above. U

I got a free sample pack from wild, worked fine and smelt lovely but left white greasy marks on my clothes. Using fussy now which is working brilliantly and not causing any marks or anything.

I've been using pitrok which is an aluminium crystal (so an antiperspirant rather than simply a deodorant). It seems to work pretty well.

I've been using Forever Living Aloe for around 20 years and it's still going strong. Stays fresh 24 hours..
Both my DDs have started using it and after trying out various others due to peer influence have come back to FL.

I tried wild. I wanted to love it. But it left marks on my white tops every time 😞

Me too. The smell was lovely but the white marks were awful. I complained to them about it and they just said I was putting too much on… I was only doing one swipe! Patronising customer service too.

I also found the packaging a fiddle and really messy. Plus it was expensive.

I’m back to Dove and it’s much better.

I’m done with the greenwashing.

I use fussy and love it. Have converted the entire family including sporty DS15…

I have a code for a free case DM me it you want it…

I really like Wild. I've been using it for 2 years or so. I don't feel particularly sweaty with it, but maybe I'm not a very sweaty person. It certainly works well as a deodorant, even when I'm running.

PitRok isn't an antiperspirant, it lets you sweat but stops the smell.

HollyHillock · 01/08/2023 22:28

I have used Pit Putty for years. It is fantastic. I could (and have) run a ten miler and still not smell.

Unfortunately I have developed a slight allergy to it this year so have to limit my use of it. I'm 52 whichhas come with all sorts of allergies and intolerances so I don't blame the product. But nothing comes close to the efficiency of pit putty.

I don't work for them but I probably could sell it!!!

pricklythistles · 01/08/2023 22:42

I'm another that wanted to love Wild, but ended up not being...err, wild about it 😉

It's messy, always excess deodorant on the lip of the holder which gets smushed into the lid if you don't wipe it. Wouldn't mind so much but it's not cheap so pisses me off that there is waste.

Smell is okay and it seemed to do the job but didn't wow me.

And the holder is bulky and heavy. I certainly wouldn't travel with it.

I'm back to Dove or Nivea stick cream.

I've just placed an order with the natural Deodrant company so good to see positive reviews. Will report back.

I have been using Arcade Skincare fragrance free deodorant. It does stop the BO pits, lasts well and is silky smooth. It is quite a stiff paste so took some getting used to...I was used to a spray or creamy deodorant, but this one really impressed me. I have also been using it as a chub rub, perfect on the thighs and under-boob zone when I am at the gym. It forms an almost talcy layer on the skin and stops the chafe.
