Given in and put my thermals on!
It was either that or put the heating on, which is surely a step too far in mid summer?

Also East Midlands here, I’m genuinely considering putting the winter blankets back on the bed, it is cold today
both kids have put their slippers on due to the floor feeling like an ice rink

CaptainMyCaptain · 22/07/2023 14:29

Nesh.

BeverleyMacker · 22/07/2023 14:47

Staffs here and it's freezing 🥶

CaptainMyCaptain · 22/07/2023 14:29

Nesh.

I am unashamedly nesh, and it's bloody freezing today! Have resisted putting the heating on, but I have dug out my fleece and I'm very grateful for it!

toochesterdraws · 22/07/2023 14:51

My central heating came on of its own accord for half an hour.

Beezknees · 22/07/2023 14:51

South Derbyshire here. I'm quite hot blooded so no heating on, but I've not opened the windows which I normally do every day in summer. Been pissing it down all day.

ApolloandDaphne · 22/07/2023 14:53

I'm on the east coast of Scotland and I'm sitting in the garden. It's a little breezy but warm and pleasant.

manontroppo · 22/07/2023 14:57

East Anglia, and have just had to bring the Guinea pigs inside because it’s chucking it down and chilly. In July!

ThrappleApple · 22/07/2023 14:58

We've put the heating on, mainly because I need to get some washing dry and the house is too cold and damp for drying. My weather station is reading 14 degrees outside

ColinRobinsonsFart · 22/07/2023 15:00

Cheshire here - reet nesh!

I have put a cardi on. DH says he will put the winter duvet on the bed for tonight

strawberryicecream6464 · 22/07/2023 15:02

Have had my heating on past few days

iklboo · 22/07/2023 15:24

Manchester here and it's horrible - really muggy.

dontgobaconmyheart · 22/07/2023 15:42

Not the best start to the summer is it. I'm in the SE and it's been a month of mostly rain and the rest of it forecast for more rain, a big storm overnight tonight apparently and weather warning for rainfall/flooding.

I'm almost always cold as it is and have put a hoodie and socks on (am at home so obviously not a fashion choice) but don't think I'd go as far as to put on the heating, there is a humidity to the air and the actual temperature isn't that low, even if it feels cold. Feels autumnal though.

Ineedwinenow · 22/07/2023 15:44

Near to Belper here and the heating came on automatically ( very old cold house anyway so that doesn’t help either) 🥶

FloofCloud · 22/07/2023 15:47

It's not that cold lol 😆... also East Midlands (west bridgford)

Baneofmyexistence · 22/07/2023 15:48

I’m in greater Manchester and it’s been extremely rainy but warm, very muggy. Been doing jobs in the house and sweating!

Alconleigh · 22/07/2023 15:50

I'm east mids too and it's pretty grim today. I've got a hoody on. The heating is a bridge too far though. Not in July. And the house is 20 degrees. Apparently.

Danikm151 · 22/07/2023 15:51

In Brum and I’m cold!

managed to cut the grass for the first dry day in weeks then it rained again!

mouse26 · 22/07/2023 15:53

Also east Mids. No heating here but I am sitting with a big fleece hoodie on. Supposed to be attending a barbecue later, can't see it still going ahead 😂

BCBird · 22/07/2023 15:53

In West Midlands. I agree it cold🙄

I am nesh though 😊

Yes, same. Very north Greater Manchester (Bury). Back door open all day so far.

Jackydaytona · 22/07/2023 16:25

I'm east mids too and its grey, wet and cold
Gotta be honest, I prefer thos to 30 degree heat!

TimeToMoveIt · 22/07/2023 16:27

Nottingham and its freezing

Babyroobs · 22/07/2023 16:28

East midlands here but I don't think it's freezing. It's raining and a bit windy but not what I'd call cold !
