Actually haven’t got a Dublin code just the email so assuming they’ll send me a code closer to?

WelshNerd · 14/07/2023 18:00

Got a code for Cardiff and London. Really don't want to go to London if I can avoid it but they go on sale first.

Doteycat · 14/07/2023 18:05

Paris sale rescheduled.
4 diff days next week for the 4 concert dates. Same code for each.

GreggAndTomlette · 14/07/2023 18:07

Has anyone had waitlist email? I’ve got 2 London dates (one I can’t do) and the Cardiff date but nothing else, not even waitlist

lucysmam · 14/07/2023 18:54

@GreggAndTomlette I think the email should tell you around when you get the actual code.

We're waitlisted for liverpool but don't need it now - I can't see a way to cancel this now since we have tickets already 🤷‍♀️

PinkPlantCase · 14/07/2023 22:37

Wait listed for all U.K. venues

justasoul · 15/07/2023 13:35

Still didn't get anything for London so assuming I have not even been waitlisted

PurpleWalls · 16/07/2023 18:59

Has anyone purchased a seated package for Anfield? I'm just wondering which package you bought and where the seats were. I'm just checking as I've heard about people buying packages and the seats not being great. TIA 😀

ComputerInitiateJump · 17/07/2023 16:25

I had an email 30 mins ago to say I had been selected from the waitlist to join the queue for Edinburgh and a code but I keep getting bumped out of the queue. There were 1500 ahead of me and it said tickets are extremely limited so I've given up.
So it's obviously worth constantly checking emails if you've been waitlisted 🤞

CowboyLikeMe · 17/07/2023 16:47

@ComputerInitiateJump I think there are only expensive VIP tickets left.

ComputerInitiateJump · 17/07/2023 20:57

Yes looks like plenty still for sale if you're happy to spend over £600 per ticket. What a complete rip off.

Windy1234 · 17/07/2023 21:42

@LittleBumblebee3 can I ask, your extra tickets don't happen to be for Edinburgh do they 🙈

@Windy1234 2 standing for Edinburgh on the Friday night, yeah!

Windy1234 · 17/07/2023 22:17

@LittleBumblebee3 iv never bought concert tickets before but is there a way to do it officially through ticket master but so I could buy them off you potentially?! I am desperate to go but by the time I got on today the cheapest were £650!

Sear86 · 17/07/2023 22:43

I'm not surprised at the tickets being resold for extortionate amounts, I find it quite sad. I'm surprised Taylor Swift's team haven't found a way to prevent resales at higher than face value.

I got 2 sets of tickets in the presale, to 2 London dates with a presale code (from the album purchase).

There is no way to safely buy resale tickets apart from the official resale sites such a viagogo etc.

Unless you know and trust the person it would be foolish to buy from some random person on the internet. Once you had paid for the tickets you would have to trust the person to send the tickets to you when they are sent to the original purchasers account just before the concert. You have to trust them to do this and trust them not to resell them for many times their value to someone else.

Lots and lots of people are going to get scammed over these concerts. People are desperate for the tickets and thats great news for the scammers

christmastreefarm · 18/07/2023 02:46

@LotsOfThingsToThinkAbout

Viagogo is not an official resale site and is not safe.

s14a · 18/07/2023 07:50

Anyone else still running the gauntlet for tickets today?
Didn't manage to get any for Edinburgh yesterday but between our group of friends we've got one for Wembley and Anfield

@Windy1234 I completely agree with most of what @LotsOfThingsToThinkAbout has replied with. Although, I certainly would NOT suggest buying through Viagogo. It’s definitely not an official resale site and is not safe.

I understand people being desperate to go but please please please be sensible about buying tickets. Ticketmaster has an official resale function. It isn’t available until the eTickets are available to view in the app which hasn’t usually been until a couple of months before the concert going by tickets I’ve had in the past. When you sell through that function, the name of the lead booker is all officially changed through ticketmaster and funds are held by them etc to make sure everything is legit. I’ve never used AXS so unsure if they have a similar resale procedure but hopefully they do.

Nobody has tickets in hand currently so anyone promising just now to “transfer tickets immediately” is at it! I’ve seen loads of resale tickets advertised as this already.

I mentioned on here that I had a spare pair and the number of private messages I’ve had is into the double figures - with some even offering to transfer funds just now to secure the tickets then me transferring them when they’re available 😳

I really really hope those that missed out manage to get tickets but please be sensible. If you’re disappointed now at not having tickets, imagine spending a fortune on resale and getting to the stadium gates and being turned away because your tickets aren’t actually valid?!

Windy1234 · 18/07/2023 08:30

@LotsOfThingsToThinkAbout @LittleBumblebee3 thank you both for advice. Yes I am desperate to go but not desperate enough to be scammed/pay majorly inflated prices. I have only ever been to one or two concerts before, neither of which I sorted the tickets for so have no idea the ins and outs. I think I will just wait until nearer the time and check Ticketmaster then x

YesYesCorrect · 18/07/2023 08:54

Sorry for suggesting ViaGoGo, I thought if you bought tickets on there and if you end up not getting them that you get your money refunded.

I guess that means you can still end up ticketless which even though you would then be refunded would be awful.

ComputerInitiateJump · 18/07/2023 08:56

Yes ASX have a similar resale and sellers can only add a max of 10% to the price.
After all the Peter Kay furore you can actually find decently priced tickets a few days before each show through official resale, if you have to time to keep checking. I'm holding onto hope thats I'll be able to get some for TS at the last minute 🤞

turtledovelove · 18/07/2023 20:24

I have a question and wondered whether anyone had any expert opinions...

I have a code from AXS to try for tickets in Cardiff, tomorrow afternoon. From what I understand now is the general sale so am I right in thinking that there will be scarcely any tickets left now?

What are the chances of even getting one at this stage? I had codes for all 3 Edinburgh dates and spent the best part of yesterday trying to purchase 2....not a chance!

I understand the process and why they've done it but good heavens what a fiasco!!

ContractQuestion · 18/07/2023 21:09

I had assumed if you had a code for h
This week you'd have a good chance but it doesn't seem necessarily the case. People are getting through and finding only the silly priced ones left.

GreggAndTomlette · 19/07/2023 15:08

I managed to get 2 tickets for Wembley today, tried for Liverpool yesterday but got no where near. I was about 11,000 in the queue when it opened. Took about 30 minutes to get to the front and had to get VIP tickets at £220 a pop but just glad we’ve got them
