OMG. Need to mobilise and get ticket purchase strategy in order 😬😬

Apparently there is a venue presale for Cardiff which I should have access to as a principality customer but I have received nothing. The information coming out about various ways to get tickets is so disjointed. Really frustrated.

Haven’t received anything about the UK dates yet. I guess we might get something tomorrow?

Has anyone received codes yet through ticketmaster / AXS for the normal sale? Not midnights pre-sale… they’re gonna come out at the last possible minute on the 14th aren’t they ☹️

Does anything think there will be any legit resales of tickets?

I reckon there will be some pop up. With every date being on a different sale slot people may have tried for an earlier date in case they couldn't get the one they wanted (my daughter wanted last night really). I have already agreed to pass the unwanted one on to someone and I am sure there will be lots of people like this. I specifically said to my daughter we would sell at face value and not make a profit.

So - did everyone with a midnights code get a ticket? 3 Dublin dates to go and then general sale. Good luck all

do you think that the delay in sending out the general sale emails, is to identify as much as possible who bought in the presale and therefore will not qualify for a general sale code?

yes, I think you're right! dds are 17 and 19, but also prone to being dramatic (and easily taken in!). Apparently their freinds have "definitely" got codes, cause they've seen them "on their stories" but I am thinking there is some fabrication going on somewhere! All my other reading suggests as you say that no uk general sale codes have been released until today. So back to email checking it is! Good luck all

@funtimesahead100 I've seen a post on one of the other threads with a screenshot from ticketmaster that says they weren't responsible for the midnight's presale codes so it's possible to get a code again but I'm not sure.
I wondered if it was more a wait to see how many tickets were actually sold in the midnight presale.

I suspect this, I think after the American mess they are going to want to limit the number with access to match more closely with available tickets. They will know available tickets now that presale is done.

But surely the presale only had a certain allocation of tickets available anyway? And they would always be expected to sell out?

But yes, it would make sense to give out fewer codes so that the site isn't as overwhelmed and to manage expectations earlier.

Good point. They may also have been able to get an idea of demand ( so those unlucky in presale) and adjust waitlist numbers accordingly? Or they could just have a set number of codes which hasn’t changed… will be interesting to see how the split is on here between codes and waitlist.

I assumed all the midnight's code people would be able to get tickets and the rest of us who registered will be battling for leftovers. Seems a bit crap if they had a limited number available to the midnight's group. Still kicking myself for not buying midnight's.

No, even with a midnights code, we weren’t guaranteed tickets.

I can’t see how they could cross check who bought presale tickets with the registration though. Presale was handled by AXS in UK and registration was through ticketmaster or AXS. I’d have thought data protection meant they couldn’t share information.
