Bit of a weird question!

So, I have the 10ft bestway pro max swimming pool being delivered tomorrow. Typically for me, it’s rain/thunderstorms for the next 3 days!! Could I build the pool and let the rainwater fill it? Then add chlorine before using it? Surely rainwater is cleaner than tap water, but it just feels odd!

How about asking the local fire service to call to do a free home safety check? When they came to do mine I was mortified when they actually came in a fire engine. Make them tea and something to eat. And ask them to leave their hose running into the pool while they’re eating 🤣 👨‍🚒 👨‍🚒

They always come in the fire engine. Were you expecting them to hop off the bus? 😂

That's a four and a half thousand litre capacity paddling pool OP, and your average watering can holds about five litres. I think I love you.

900 watering cans!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh my god, I'd be going strong until 20, then I'd cry!!!

haha it will take you an eternity with jugs. You need to buy some kind of tap attachment.

This reminds me of the Little Britain baked beans Bath challenge. Anyone remember? I'll try to find it and link it

I’m giving this scenario too much thought🤣 I’m wondering what you do if and when you need to empty such a large volume of water from the pool?

I don’t know about if you need to empty it but if your kids and their friends accidentally tip it then the neighbour’s garden and kitchen get very soggy and the neighbour swears a lot.

Oh no OP. We have the same pool, it took 7 hours to fill with the hosepipe. Luckily we will only fill it once all summer.

I don't know if you have a filter for it or not, but it has to be filled quite high for the filter to work.

We still have an empty pool in the garden🤣 the adapter isn’t working and I’m sure the rains just evaporating from the pool!
