Whenever the current thread about Coming Clean gets censored by youknowwho, post the new link here.

Be assured it won't come back.... There is definitely something strange going on. I have today been reading threads where the nastiest of abuse and shaming has been meted out to posters and those posted about, yet. lo! They stay. These threads, telling the truth and primarily acting as a helpful warning to those who don't want to be ripped off or abused...Go!!
Isn't it odd

MindyMooToo · 25/01/2024 19:21

MN Towers follows LF on Twitter… friends in high places and all that….

RhinoRhino · 25/01/2024 20:22

Wonder why MN appear keen to align themselves with a duplicitous and amoral grifter who has allegedly fleeced vulnerable women of their hard earned and much needed cash.

Oh, but they don't do that as a rule, do they? The many Jack Monroe threads are still up, aren't they? MN have clear guidelines, which are followed by posters on the LF threads, and its reasonable to assume that what is good for JM is good for any lesser-known grifter. Surely MN wouldn't be so unprofessional as to enforce their rules in an opaque and arbitrary way, and they wouldn't be so unscrupulous as to choose to silence certain women for reasons known only to themselves.

It would be very disheartening to think that an organisation for women was badly run, badly managed, or that 'management' chooses to silence the very women who want to use the platform to support each other. Some very intelligent, kind and articulate women at that.

What a ridiculous state of affairs THAT would be.

Tortiemiaw · 26/01/2024 12:49

Goodness me, no! Not on a site 'for parents, run by parents'. Not <favouritism> That would be very uncool indeed

"If you want to always be able to talk about Coming Clean" ..... go to Ttle 😃

Probably for the best TL seems to be open to worthy discussion. Pointless to start new thread after MN comments. But what will said person do without the cleaners discussing. Said person thrives off this forum. Funny tbh.

Wrongsideofliz · 27/01/2024 12:17

Mumsnet should have the courtesy to explain why it makes this decision, time over. It is discriminating against women who have been scammed. She’s in the process of running her next scam. This must be number 5.

Intriguedbythis · 27/01/2024 17:21

It’s ironic that LF closes down these threads as Tattle comes up much higher in internet searches and is not removable

Verity44 · 27/01/2024 18:39

Dear Mumsnet,
I can't be part of this any longer. I have seen multiple threads taken down and it is completely unbearable. By deleting threads you are upholding the worst aspects of the patriarchy - browbeating/bullying/gaslighting - and worse, you are colluding with a woman doing that to other women.

We see where the power lies here and it isn't with women who are trying to defend themselves and form a strong network of mutual support (we thought that was the point of Mumsnet). You have made it clear that self-interest is your over-riding concern with your threatening message on the last deleted thread. Don't bother suspending my account I am deleting it the second I have pressed send on this.

Absolutely nuts. Do people not realise this is just a social media site? The amount of emotional energy expended by some posters on this topic & towards MNHQ is mind-boggling.

RhinoRhino · 27/01/2024 19:18

@EarringsandLipstick This you on another thread? "My abusive marriage ended, I've gone through separation and now divorce, and all the associated stress of bringing up 3 children alone, and I have never had an opportunity to really talk about it with any of them ....Their treatment of me has caused enormous hurt, which they are largely or fully unaware of, but there is no way of having those conversations ....I really encourage my ... children to say how they are feeling and 'have it out', believing it is a lot better to be open and deal with 'big' feelings, than make the other person feel ashamed for having them."

Just think about what you are saying in the quote above, and then think about how you come across with your pompous scolding twaddle, trying to dictate what other people can and cannot talk about.

No law against being a hypocrite, but your comments on threads that don't involve you just makes other people think you might be a bit of a tedious attention-seeker.

RhinoRhino · 27/01/2024 19:26

@Verity44 Totally sympathise with your position. It's just disappointing that other people want to dictate what is or isn't important for posters to discuss on this site. You have been very open in saying that LF has hurt you personally, and it really does upset me that other people try to dismiss your feelings as 'nuts'. How utterly shameful.

If any of us can help then please let us know. You know we are here for you and any other person who wants to obtain support and a bit of light relief from sympathetic women.

It may not be the platform for you, but there are other threads going. Won't name it, but it rhymes with "oh my goodness, somebody is waving their rattle"!! 😂

You have even got your own thread on Reddit lol

This thread puts other threads I’ve completely failed to understand into some context.

Your posts on the Rattle Snake 🐍 place are hilarious. You are wasted on mumsnet 🤣
