How many subscriptions do you have.

My monthly subscriptions to services/products seem to be increasing and I’m going to try and cut down. What current subscriptions to you have?

I have Netflix, Paramount +, Amazon Prime, Dermatica, Tinder, Google storage and Spotify. Tinder is getting deleted today as that’s a big waste of money, and I think Netflix will be going too as I can never find anything decent to watch.

Disney and prime. I piggy back off other people for Netflix and Spotify. I don't feel the need for any others.

stormelf · 21/05/2023 13:55

We have Netflix (was going to get rid but now they have harry potter films on it I'm not so sure), Amazon prime and Disney plus. We basically only stream TV. I would cancel TV licence as we don't have a working TV antenna but I do watch BBC iPlayer so can't

Disney+ is paid for a year though as of was my birthday present

User1529865 · 21/05/2023 13:59

Netflix, though I cancel that and restart quite regularly
Prime,
Disney, though that is Clubcard points
Sky including Cinema with Paramount,
Apple TV, that is free at the moment on a Sky offer but I will subscribe again when it runs out
Tesco midweek delivery,
Which online,
National Trust,
Apple for Cloud storage (79p)
Apple Music
DH has some photo editing software
OS maps

avocadotofu · 21/05/2023 14:02

Prime, Netflix and Disney. I feel like there are others but I can't think of them.

Farmageddon · 21/05/2023 14:03

Netflix (which I share with a friend in return for sharing her Disney+)
Apple tv+ - but will probably cancel in a few months when I finish watching a few things
A coffee subscription - my morning treat and cheaper than going to a cafe everyday
The Times online subscription

avocadotofu · 21/05/2023 14:03

Oh and Apple Music

avocadotofu · 21/05/2023 14:03

Oh and national trust and a ZSL as we go to the zoo a lot. And an art pass

BonnieGlasses · 21/05/2023 14:05

I have none of that stuff. You don't need it.

MadEyeMoodysEye · 21/05/2023 14:37

Prime, Netflix, Disney +, Spotify, Audible. All well used apart from Disney which seems to have gone downhill lately so thinking of cancelling that one.

CaptainSeven · 21/05/2023 15:00

Prime for the shopping. TV a bonus

Paramount+ because of the best series ever (Star Trek)

Disney Plus because of Star Wars

Netflix for my DD

Amazon Music (shared by all, preferred by DS)

Apple Cloud Storage

The above all come from the family pot

DH pays for whatever channel Salvage Hunters is on.

They creep up on you these things.

TheApplianceofScience · 21/05/2023 15:00

InBeautifulKindWays · 21/05/2023 13:13

Netflix, Amazon Prime and music, Now, Disney+, Paramount, Apple TV, Duolingo, Peak brain training, a vegan food box thing but can’t remember their name, kindle unlimited, audible, a couple of gaming things for my partner/kids. Probably more. 😅

Do you really need a those different TV options?

devildeepbluesea · 21/05/2023 16:39

Prime
Britbox
Disney+
Apple TV (on a freebie)
Audible
Naked Wines
Apple Fitness (also a freebie)
Les Mills online (paid for with Tesco vouchers, prob won’t renew now I’ve changed gyms)
Weightwatchers - cancelling next month
Match - again cancelling

Without a doubt the most used of them all is Audible. I’ve had it longer than DD and I probably listen at least 3 hours a day.

Netflix, Prime, Audiobooks, a couple of newspapers. We sometimes do food subscriptions, but have stopped due to the mixed quality.

We used to subscribe to newspapers but if you Google your local councils name and Pressreader or Libby, you are likely to be able to get them for free if you sign up as a library member.

We cancelled our subscriptions when we found out our library service offered the papers for free.

BelindaBears · 21/05/2023 16:42

Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney, Skin & Me, Spotify, the Times, Sainsbury’s delivery pass, National Trust, English Heritage, a couple of Patreons. I probably do need to cull tbh.

Polis · 21/05/2023 16:44

Microsoft 365, Amazon Prime and Apple One.

NeedANewPhone1 · 21/05/2023 16:46

Usually (but not always) one TV service - Netflix or Prime (this is often a free month) or NowTV. Only one at a time though. Currently it's Apple (free for 6 months).

Occasionally Kindle Unlimited for a month (this is usually a freebie). And we pay for a TV license. I think that's it.

Oh, PlayStation network probably counts too - that's an annual cost.

Afonavon · 21/05/2023 16:47

Smol (eco washing liquid etc)
Beer24
GinClub
Little Box of Crochet
Gousto
Balance
Calm

JulieHoney · 21/05/2023 16:51

Telly: Prime, Netflix, Disney+, AppleTV, NowTV. Apple and Now are just for a few months when they get stuff we like. We dip in and out.

Music: Amazon Prime Music, mostly used by DD and DH

Sainsbury’s delivery pass

RHS, RSPB, Wildlife Trust magazines with memberships, plus BBC Good Food magazine (club card vouchers)

Monthly coffee subscription (birthday gift)

MessyBunny · 21/05/2023 16:55

Sky, all the channels in lots of rooms
Amazon
Disney
BT sports
Netflix
Paramount
Cineworld membership
random one month subscriptions if there a show I want to binge.
