Yes, it was a DVT that developed into a pulmonary embolism. I think I made light of it at the time but I nearly died tbh so you actually saved my life, so polish those lovely halos

The somewhat damp squib ending is that I bought two skeins of embroidery thread, but the stationery was all wrong so I left empty handed on that front. However, TK Maxx had all the rugs.

It gets better. He then took me round Lidl for 'The Greek Event' because he had a hankering for pickled peppers. I said all right but only if it's quick because my back hurts. (I swear this is actually true.)

Is the Aldi one decent? We don't have an Aldi in my town so I need to make a list of all the good stuff from there to go get one day.

Tbh going back to earlier posts, we don't even have The Range or TK Maxx here. We're rather deprived of the fun shops tbh.

We do have a Lidl though. But I'm still not convinced on pickled peppers.

feel the need to join a drunk thread tonight! Just been out for a boozy dinner with DH, DS and DD. Had a farewell dinner for DS who is leaving home post graduation for his first job in London (we’re in Scotland) so feeling just a little sentimental 😪 DD came home from Uni to join us so it’s all been just lovely but my heart’s breaking just a little too. They’re all outside sitting round the fire pit now and their laughter is infectious so I’m heading out now to enjoy
