Ohh I'd love to join you. Wish I could share some of the batshit things that have been said to me in work today but can't.

Instead I'll share what my teenage said........

Half a glass in. I'm making it last tonight. I won't be drinking tomorrow (even with Eurovision on) as I'm travelling on Sunday for a family funeral on Monday so I want to enjoy it tonight.

Can I join in half way down a very large glass of gavi and think I can sensibly only have one more really as it my sons communion tomorrow and have to be up early. Will also be drinking form midday.....

What snacks are we requiring tonight? Pulling up a chair with a gin and tonic…

I remember the drunk threads but can’t remember many of the names. I remember it all went tits up one night and was never the same again. I remember Usual, Scoose and Mrs Wembleys round ups. I had a different name back then. I think maybe Mobster.

I've had a couple of drinks but my DS is insisting on being awake two hours past his bedtime. Which is annoying because I want to have a nice bath and shave my legs 🍆 and then have a large rum!

No snacks for me thanks, I had a huge plate of homemade cheesy pasta quite late tonight and I'm still stuffed. It was really good though, to the point I told my DH over the phone (he's at work) that I think I put too much cheese in it and he joked that that sounded like code for something being wrong at home because it doesn't sound like something I would ever say.

I had a chip butty because quite honestly i cba but needed to eat something as i hadn't eaten all day!

The (now-ageing-a-bit) Hot Builder took me up The Range today and dear god what a disappointment that place is. It was so bad we ended up in TK Maxx and when we got home I had to have a whiskey.

My getting tipsy night was rudely interrupted by my 16 year old son. Last official day of school before they stay or leave . He thought it was a good idea to go to a local forest with his friends and get totally plastered on a mixture of Bacardi and vodka , he was off his head drunk as he’s never drunk before . I had stupid phone calls from him and one of his sensible friends promised he get him home safe for me . Sensible friend then got hit in the head by a thrown glass bottle by another one in the group, son home and other boy probably in AE.

Yes @LineRunner total blast from the past. Didn’t you used to cycle around and then you had some worrying symptoms and we all sent you to hospital? Defo remember the builder!
