Facebook friend requeat glitch

Is anybody else experiencing this glitch? You go onto somebody's page and it automatically requests them as a friend.

Beware stalkers! 😆

Facebook seem to have wiped my list of people I have friend requested. Apparently I've only friend requested 2 people since 2010 which is definitely not true.

Do we know when this started?

I'm on a Google deep dive and it seems to be a today issue (today being the last 24 hours). Redditors first posted 9 hours ago complaining about it

Omg I hope this isn't true but I've only stalked 2 people today and I've checked requests sent and they aren't showing. Please tell me I'm going to be ok 🤣🤣

So just people that you’re looked at stalked in the last 24 hours?

So far it seems to be the case, aside from a significant number saying their whole "people you may know" list has been added.

Passively passing some profiles seems to have done it for a few others. But it does appear to be an issue from the last 24 hours only.

If you've been affected you need to log onto a desktop and delete them from there

Do you all have your profiles on public? Otherwise, how can people stalk your profile?

I take stalk in this context to mean click on, so you don't know what you can be seen on a peeona profile until you click on it
Maybe it's private maybe not, only one way to find out

Unless I've been misunderstanding the concept

Mines hidden, but obvs my name and picture show

Mine isn't on public but if you click on other peoples, I find most are public and you can see everything.
