Facebook friend requeat glitch

Is anybody else experiencing this glitch? You go onto somebody's page and it automatically requests them as a friend.

Beware stalkers! 😆

Sadly no one has added me accidentally so I’m obviously not interesting enough to look up!

I had a very interesting request form someone who I'd never have thought would request me! I accepted it 😂 I keep looking to see how long it is before they unfriend me!!!

That explains why I have an odd friend request then.

Oh dear, this is a disaster isn’t it! I daren’t look on someone’s profile to see if there’s a pending request, in case the glitch hits
me and it requests them! I can’t see any pending requests on my activity so hopefully that’s accurate.

Ohh that explains why a school mum i don't know accepted a friend request i don't remember making. She appears in the 'people you may know' list

Thanks for the tip, I've just checked this and found I've sent another friend request apparently. Definitely never looked at her profile page, but she is a 'people you may know'.

I just checked and I had sent 8! that is creepy

Yes, and I can't stop them. So embarrassed been stalking my exes new girlfriend and it's sent her a request 😬😬😬😬

Can someone tell me in detail where you go to find out if you’ve sent any? I’m such a stalker, this could be a disaster!

I’m loving this! I received a friend request from a lady who was really horrible to me recently. Glorious.

If you go to activity log but then it won't let me cancel it

@Tacocatgoatcheesepizza I went on my main computer and looked clicked friend requests icon and requests I had sent , I can't see that option on my ipad. Some profiles I didn't look at , so I imagine I just accidently touched the add friend while scrolling through ,another one I did look up as I was looking up and old friend by name but it wasnt them , so I had no idea where the friend request came from , It seems far too easy to do though.

I don’t think my sent requests is accurate as it only shows 8, the last one being in 2017! Altho Ive never been friends with any of them so maybe it only shows refused ones?

I have a burner acct from a couple of years ago, tried viewing that and didn’t send a request but I will be avoiding looking at anyone for now (tbf,
now I’m over my ex I don’t really stalk anyone anyway)

I did find it weird that I suddenly started getting requests from people who were legit, with mutual friends rather than bots, but not anyone I knew.

Only on android phones not I phones

Is anyone having the problem of requests being sent to people they haven't even viewed the profiles of? This has happened to me today! I'm sure I haven't looked at their profiles, but they are people I have mutual friends with!

I’m using the browser on safari to access fb. If you click on profile settings, then connections, there’s an option to view friend requests sent.

Anyone know if I block them they'll see? Was reading and apparently they'll still get a notification 🙄

Thank you for the warning! Thankfully I haven’t been stalking today. But I did find I’d requested total strangers nearly 10 years ago!

This is too much for me, the anxiety is crazy.

It seriously couldn't be any worse, I found her through stalking anyway, thorough stalking as he isn't even on FB.

So we have no mutual connections, I can't just say i was being nosey from his page. OMG.

I'm going to sue them, FB has caused me to have cigarettes and I don't even smoke.
